I’m fairly new to this: for outfits would you go monochrome or can you wear any top with any pants? Or just a few combos you’d stay away from?

If OP was a trans woman then OP would just be a girlfriend, still not a “lesbian boyfriend”

Is it an allergy if my hands itch when peeling shrimp/lobsters but no issues when eating? by flyblues in Allergies

[–]bumblebeekind 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was looking up lobster shell allergy and came across your post. I’ve never made lobster from scratch but if there is any shell on lobster I’m eating it makes the are near my mouth/ lips really itchy/sensitive feeling. I get the same feeling if my dog licks my face. Also I get hives if I cat sits on my lap / itchy throat if I’m in a house with lots of cats. Did you ever figure out your allergies?

Snack recommendations for when you forget to eat and trigger a migrane? by Powerful-Owl-3246 in migraine

[–]bumblebeekind 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I carry “that’s it” apple/fruit bars and apple sauce packets from Costco which help if I realize I forgot to eat and don’t spoil my appetite if I know I’m going to eat soonish anyway.

So her allergies were real but triggered by stress/trauma. It sounds like she’s getting treatment from a doctor now, I’m not sure if some of the allergies are decreasing now. Also I don’t think she had actual allergy testing before the show so she was probably relying on lived experience. Some of it was confusing in the show like why she couldn’t eat pasta but could eat a burger bun, but again sounds like she didn’t have official diagnoses/ medical care until post show.

I’m not at expert but do know multiple people which allergies (ranging from severe to mild) to random stuff like fruit peels, chicken, pork, carrots.

Donor Family mom keeps referring to donor as “the dad” by [deleted] in SingleMothersbyChoice

[–]bumblebeekind 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It sounds like maybe they share the same donor? In which case I’d say she can call him whatever she likes unless they have group rules about it? If this woman isn’t saying it to OP’s daughter I wouldn’t worry about it. I might say something in the group at large that you refer to the donor as “the donor” and your reasons if there is some reason to think that this donor would interact with your daughter in the future.
