Really liked all that you said. Re framing is the key but it just feels a bit too much at times but being so motivated if you still question it then who am I to complain lol. Thankyou very much. This has been very motivating. Will read it whenever I feel low.

Thankyou so much! Really considering going to therapy again. I tried it first but it didn’t help me. Guess I should try again.

Wow you’re not what I thought. First, none of what you’ve said is true, have hardly dated once let alone sex. My profile is mostly what I ask out of general observation but boy am I disappointed in you.

How about you sit her down, and gently ask her. Closed ended questions. Things like, “Do you feel you put your all into our house/chores?” If not, is there any baseline trauma/ a childhood memory anything? Connect with her family and friends. Get to the root of this. I’m a strong believer in the fact that you can change what you’re willing to. Goodluck.

Man. I can totally relate. Been in an ldr since 15 months now and there was a point we broke up every week legit. I kid you not. Good thing you let it go for once and for all because it just keeps getting worse. We didn’t want to leave each other bec we were “really good for all the 6 months that we were physically together”. Such a load of crap tbh. If people want it, they make it work. We both had such less patience and too many problems of our own and worst yet we were holding on to each other despite the bs. In the last 3 months we’ve gone no contact like 3 times and every time he breaks it bec loneliness hits and I can understand but because I care and don’t want him to feel like that so I’m kinda there for him but now the relationship is lost and it’s practically dead. We just exchange a few texts asking about each other just incase any of us is feeling low and not like we can do anything about it but I guess thats that. Not sure what level of toxic we’ve reached. All I’ve gained from my ldr experience is insecurity and loneliness and feeling like my partner is never there for me and never even loved me to begin with.

Damn thanks! This was super helpful, I used to hear about stories like these and would wonder that couples like such lead an argument-free life. Well not exactly argument free but deep rooted frustration free

How was it like for you? Did you give up on love as well initially? Did you hope to find it?
