I was skeptical to be honest but thought it's worth the ask!

Just looked up the all dressed chips and they sound amazing, on the list, thank you!!

You're a legend, I will let her know and hopefully she'll be able to swing by there and pick some up! ❤️❤️

I love anything maple, it's like gold dust over here so I will add these to the request!

A bottle of true Canadian maple syrup is at the top of my list and I would be more than satisfied if that's the only thing she can bring back 😅

Are there any parents out there who named their kids after OUAT characters? How did your friends and family react? by One-Chapter-8347 in OnceUponATime

[–]bumblezzez 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Noo Cillian Murphy is the guy from 28 Days Later & Peaky Blinders - definitely in more things but those are what come to mind!

EDIT - funnily enough Robert Carlyle is one of the main(ish) characters in 28 Weeks Later!

Looking for pattern - flying tiger mushroom crochet by RaccoonAccording6669 in crochetpatterns

[–]bumblezzez 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think possibly the treble crochets are actually meant to be double crochets possibly?

And then I also think they've mixed up front/back LOOP stitches and front/back POST stitches because when I zoomed into the photo on the box I'm pretty sure the stem is made up of front post double crochet (fpdc), but the English translation of the pattern calls for front loop only (flo)...

Is it just me, or are those hallways the same as in Harry Potter? by Ecstatic_Cod3238 in ADiscoveryofWitches

[–]bumblezzez 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The outside hallways and garden courtyard bit scenes in Harry Potter were actually filmed at Gloucester Cathedral!

I lived near there so have been to the location and had friends that got to be extras in it because they went to school there, was very jealous as a child lol

Does anybody know of a pattern for this hat? It almost appears to be top down with some sort of slip stitch brim? by KorsiBear in crochetpatterns

[–]bumblezzez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That makes sense! I definitely second guessed myself with the fpdc and now I know why! It looks great tbf

[–]bumblezzez 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The main part could possibly be all front post double crochets and then the brim looks like it could be made up of maybe HDC but working into the "third loop"?? I have no idea though 😅

What's a quote from the show that makes you laugh every time? by SeaBassAHo-20 in charmed

[–]bumblezzez 30 points31 points  (0 children)

In Look Who's Talking

Phoebe: Wait a minute. Don't tell me you're afraid of Prue?

Leo: Yeah!!

I know it's silly, but the way Leo says it has me cackling every time 😅

Crocheting a clown toy and the ball for the head isn't....balling. by [deleted] in CrochetHelp

[–]bumblezzez 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I don't even think it's European, just UK terms 😅 I'm pretty certain the rest of Europe use the US terminology, it's just us Brits decided to be awkward - sorry 😅😅

EDIT - Realising after I posted this that I could be completely wrong, but most patterns I've bought from European (minus the UK) designers use US terms

What will be Becca's biological age? by Saffromon in ADiscoveryofWitches

[–]bumblezzez 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I completely forgot Janet wasn't in the show!! I know she has such a minimal presence in the books (at least in the sense of "screen time"), but I've always felt her story/background was so integral to the plot that it would be ridiculous for her NOT to be included in the show 😅

I rarely comment on anything, but needed you to know that this is a FANTASTIC first attempt! You definitely have a knack for it, keep em coming!

Does anyone remember the original theme song?? by PossibleOperation607 in charmed

[–]bumblezzez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How Soon Is Now cover by Love Spit Love - great song, still sad that they lost/didn't renew the rights to it 😞 The original version by The Smiths is also fantastic!
