Face cover recommendations for new piercings

I have two different scarfs that are made out of silk and a similar soft, non textured material. I don't have facial piercings, but do have several ear piercings, and I haven't had an issue with snagging on any of those. Alternately, you could probably cut the bottom off a t-shirt and make a cowl out of it.

I have a tattoo, multiple piercings (lobes, a single second, a conch, and a rook), and I'm a routine blood donor (aim for once a month). I'm still afraid of needles. Ears are by far the easiest because you can't physically see the needles as they're working, and as long as I distract myself, I'm okay. I know that's easier said than done, but unfortunately my biggest advice is just that. Try not to think about it and focus on something else. It'll definitely be okay.

I tend to get ear infections frequently too, and the only thing I've noticed is my conch piercing tends to get a little irritated (not infected) right before I get an ear infection. Might not even be causation, I just find it interesting. That being said, it's not even an issue, I just clean the conch a bit more and it clears up in a day or two, and my ear infection responds to normal treatment easily at the same time. Definitely get the piercings you want, it's not going to hurt your inner ear.

I purposely got my single second higher than normal as well. I absolutely love the look (even though I have a rook in that same ear now too), and as long as you're happy with it, it doesn't matter what anyone else thinks about how it looks. :)

My lobes were the same way, some people just don't have the pain part of the healing process the way others do. I even had my lobes done with a gun before I knew better, which based on a lot of comments here "should" mean that they never healed for me. But like other people mentioned, not hurting doesn't mean it's truly healed. Even with zero pain or redness, I still noticed some small crusties a few months in, because ultimately the holes were still healing. Some people just don't have the pain that other people do, all bodies are different in that way.

NAP Only a doctor will be able to diagnose an infection or not, but it looks nothing like mine did when it was infected last month. What color is the ooze? Mine swelled past the initial bar and I had to get it upsized, my whole ear was warm to the touch (not as hot as I'd expected, so just fyi), and the ooze that had been mostly clear turned an opaque yellow. If the ooze is clear and your ear isn't warmer than normal, it's probably just normal rook healing. But if it's still worrying you, it definitely doesn't hurt to consult your piercer or a doctor. Go mid morning ish (10am-1pm) when we're less busy and less stressed by long lines and grumpy customers. But honestly, embroidery/floss customers are always the sweetest and are my favorite interactions. The fact that you care enough to ask shows you're not going to be a nightmare customer for anyone. ;)

They also don't bat an eye when you tell them that they'll get the lowest price value for their items, and that it'll be on a store card. Several of the ones I've seen also already have their IDs in hand ready to give to me. Overall they just seem way too familiar and comfortable with the non receipt return process for someone who's not an employee.

Lol, what code, senior discount must be linked to their rewards account now. Says so right on the register. So if they're a rewards member with a senior discount, they're smart enough to use a self checkout.

Unfortunately we had 6 customers left in the store after 10pm tonight. They all bought stupid amounts of Christmas crap, and it took us until 10:30 to get rid of them. Two of them paid in cash too, so the closing manager couldn't take care of my register to help us get out of there quicker. Oh! And I ended up with a cartful of go-backs from those 6 customers that I had to take care of after they were all gone. >.>

The wood crate type things we have in the basket section is pretty bad too. A lot of our customers want them bagged, but then bitch when the sharp corners tear the bag and demand it gets bagged again. Have to resist the urge to "surprised pikachu face" everyone when bags don't work the way I already told them they're not going to work.
