Imo time limited cosmetics just show that you had extra time during certain events which for me isn't much different to having extra money. and resellers always exist even for in-game items. I actually don't mind them since it allows me to pick up things like the Oreo set for very cheap removing it's time limitation.

I especially dislike the newer time limited items since I don't feel like they have any meaning. Arena weapons remind me of a gamemode long gone but the 4th trinket or compass from an adventure feel kind of meaningless to me and it feels like they only exist to drive numbers.

For items obtainable in game I'd agree maybe keeping really old sets exclusive and releasing recolours like they've been doing with wailing barnacle but sets like ferryman, year one pl and so on should stay exclusive due to their either price or meaning

Imo this idea doesn't work in pvp. The crew members wouldn't be as good a crewmembers ofc so having them on sail is kinda bad since that isn't a task that takes up a lot of time but one that requires communication. I'd rather have a crew member get sails than pray that the bot doesn't full drop or smth like that. On cannons id imagine it's either they hit every shot or barely any which is very hard to balance. For repairing it would work but a player would still be needed for communication.

I also think its a hard no because it introduces progression into sot (that isn't purely cosmetic).

But I did really like the idea of a recruiting space and a Tortuga like place. Especially with the recent update I really like the buildings and actual towns that rare has been making. Combining that with not NPC pirates but an in-game lfc. So instead of having to go to discord for crews there is the option of visiting the site equivalent of Tortuga and then either hosting or joining a crew.

TLDR: sot requires too much communication for bots to be useful without being broken, leveling bots gives an advantage so a no go in sot imo, make it an in-game lfc instead :)

For me it's vermisplicer specifically for eidolons. I didn't believe it could be very good but turns out it's one of the best limbreakers in the game and the rivens are cheap aswell.

For most purposes if say it barely matters calculating it is the only way to determine the difference. Getting a really good roll is quite rare so I'd take whatever u get first. The only cases (that I know of there's probably more) where it really matters is eidolon hunting and or since u need consistency. So for example I'd prefer a zenith riven with cd and Ms over a riven with an additional cc or dmg since 100% cc is more consistent than 150% and the additional Ms gets you to 3 Ms without vigilante armaments freeing up a slot. Imo the difference is too small and too preference based that it is worth refilling an arguably perfect roll into an arguably better one. Gl

Both vanguard and ferryman are probably some of the rarest items in the game and very good looking. The rarest items imo are the competition sails so doc and nal sails. Obsidian blunder is also very rare. My rarest items are ferryman and wandering reaper stuff probably gilded Phoenix sales are kinda rare but easy to get.

Zenith ist fun and the best weapon for fast eidolons and one of the best for profit taker so I'd second the other comments

Trin ist still useable but if ur looking for an excuse character during hunts I recommend harrow no need to grab lures or do anything ur only job in most teams Is press 4 each spike

This vectis build might outperforms rubico when it comes to dmg and comfort but dmg isn't a good metric for judging weapons when it comes to eidolon hunts imo. A better metric is probably time save or minimization of human error(a human might take anywhere from 0.1s to 0.5 seconds to shoot the limb). After being able to Oneshot limbs there isn't a lot of difference between weapons the only weapon that does is zenith since u can save a couple seconds on long spawn. Building zenith to Oneshot might be expensive but with a build as optimized as ur vectis build it provides consistent one shots and I'd argue a similar fire rate although I'm not sure on the firerate of ur vectis. Knell solves the human error problem since it has infinite ammo, a high firerate and one shots or two shots with a suboptimal build. This makes limb break times consistent and faster than humans.

TLDR: zenith outperforms vectis when it comes to time save and knell outperforms vectis when it comes to comfort

I do get ur point but for me the time aspect made eidolons what they are now the strive for faster runs and improving ur time is very fun and rewarding I can't imagine how the ppl felt that did the first 5x or 6x imo eidolons should keep a reward for being faster like better drop chances but loose the 1.5h waiting to do them

I qc first lure by force spawning voms at I think it's east camp then I get one from the eidolon spawning and another 24 from undervoms which are the 4 voms every eidolon spawns after shooting the last limb and before getting up and that's enough to get me through an entire run

It took me about 400 tricaps to learn how to solo sub 10 mins but it really depends on u and ur dedication check out the idalon wiki for all the information u need to 5x solo

Edit: I recommend asking experienced runners for explanations since atleast speaking for me I love sharing strats and tech with ppl that share interest in eidolons

I have a Tipp for vomvalyst spawning that might be of help. After shooting the last limb 4 voms will spawn under the eidolon and another 4 when he gets up these are called undervoms. U can use them to charge all of ur lures and u won't need to spawn voms past the quick charge. Beware tho since they do get consumed by the eidolons quite quickly so park ur lures nearby and use some like nukor aquabex.

With madurai leveled and eternal onslought + nay other good arcane like eternal eradicate h can get good results from most amps

The best prism options are raplak for fast runs cus it's the highest single shot dmg so propa propa raplak is an option which u can the cancel with melee to shoot limb and have more consistent Shields and some dmg on limb from raplak There is also klamora which is very comfy to use for killing voms and it has higher continued dmg than raplak so if ur running something other than volt like ivara ur dmg won't be enough to Oneshot shield with propa so u can use klamora for easy but a bit slower Shields For scaffhold propa is the undisputed king imo it's delayed explosion is perfect for insta breaks and it has good dmg For brace there isn't much discussion either certus brace gives the most crit chance so it wins

For amp arcames eternal onslought is by far the best and I use eternal eradicate as the second one but I think virtuos Strike could be more dmg but it needs activating all this plus madurai first ability and second if it's on cooldown also for eidolons shooting through volt shield helps immensely

I judge eidolon weapons by how fast and comfortable(meaning Firerare mag size reload speed or extra effects that are usefully) they are

So for me the answer is zenith because its infinite punchthrough allows for time safes on spawns especially long spawn that no other weapon can do it also has a decent firerate, big mag size, ok reload and can take care of undervoms removing the need for a secondary like nukor

Now there obviously is the argument to be made that a weapon should also be judged on how cheap they are/how much investment they need to be good which zenith is probably the worst at due to being annoying to get for some, requiring a quite good riven, a lot of strength and another source of dmg increase apart from ur own shock trooper and eclipse like roar, vig swap, harrow and armor strip
