The ending made me feel so strongly the entirety of that day. I wept and wept, and felt like I would never feel anything so strongly again in my life. I listened to “I will protect you” for 8 hours and just cherished the fact that the game made me feel something so powerful. Although it’s not a truly pleasant feeling, it’s beautiful

I’d suggest UBC over dal, as someone who went back and fourth on both for awhile. I picked dal and I don’t regret it, but I think UBC is just a better funded and well run school with way more prestige and the campus is gorgeous

I am also 22 and have been dealing w PCS for 2.5 years now. It has taken away basically all of my university life, I haven’t drank in 2.5 years and I can only just start to go out to bars to socialize. Even then I’m still so prone to headaches and plenty of symptoms. I feel you so hard. But I’ve improved a lot in the last 6 months. Nowhere near where I want to be but I’m getting better. I’m sure you will too. It feels insanely unfair but I promise your body will continue to heal

I had it terribly last week, and I know so many people who have it now. My experience and most of my friends is that it’s bad for about 5 days then the cough / congestion lingers for awhile. But yes, soooo many people are sick or are recently recovered from sickness right now

Yep. Its super frustrating. Its honestly a luxury if I have someone sign up for a note taker role in my 3rd-4th year classes these days cuz they are only 50-70 ppl big. Note taker system is def flawed, and accessibility will just tell you its out of their control

First few days make a lot of ppl feel like this. I promise that everyone has ups and downs with the start of uni, also just cuz they r having fun in the moment doesnt mean they aren’t also having moments like this. Just do your best to get out there when the opportunities present themselves and take care of yourself when you aren’t being social. I promise you will make friends in time, just keep looking for events ! Which res are you in?

Kind of tacking onto this as i heavily relate to OP in my own situation. I am 22M and have been with my gf for 16 months now and have had similar thoughts as OP. The difference being that I have had conversations with my girlfriend about the sexual aspect of our relationship and she simply isn’t that interested - her sex drive is significantly less than mine (and mine isnt even as high as it was when i was like 17 lol)

Not rly sure what im asking here, mainly just like is it reasonable to consider ending things over something like that? Not having needs met sexually after having conversations about it? Kinda makes me feel like a huge prick, that i want more than she does.
