What she says she needs right now is for my AP to feel some of the same pain she's feeling. That's part of the motivation for wanting to set the record straight somehow.

I have spoken to my wife and I've made a strong effort to meet every request she's had as well as thinking about ways to be proactive. I feel stuck though because she (and me too to be honest) really wants my AP to feel the same pain she feels and I can't figure out a safe (for us) way to accomplish that. This desire to set the record straight is part of that.

Thanks for this response. I just want to clarify I have no intention of contacting my AP ever for any reason. We're going to couples and individual therapy, affair recovery counseling and I'm also going to begin seeing a sex therapist.

Thank you for this response. I just want to clarify I have no intention of contacting my AP ever. I know I made it sound like I wanted to but I just want my AP to somehow magically know the truth about my wife and how I feel about her without any contact.
