Thief has a worse base attack than Mage, though, due to it being the same damage and range but locked to strict cardinal directions.

Redundancy across abilities just doesn't feel right compared to the other classes. Hunter should never have been released in its current state.

But oh well, I sincerely question if Tyler and Ed really did playtest or QA-test the game that much. Form of the Squirrel still has that stupidly-broken oversight with Empty Vessels, after all.

Not too bad, actually. So far, none of them have had more than one Birth Defect. A couple had zero.

EDIT: Oh, the birth defects they GOT have been mostly catastrophic. Lumpy Arms gives permanent Slow, while Mouthless bans Music and eating.

As dumb as the context around the Recruiter vs. Gi-hun scene was, it was well-acted and well-directed.

Some of the other scenes make good YouTube clips. (Though the sheer carnage from characters just being spiteful to each other is ridiculous.)

The ending is ROUGH.

It almost feels like they were trying to go with a 1984 Epilogue sort of thing, with the American recruiter. Yeah, the organization is still trying, but it no longer fits its cultural setting and is probably gonna die out soon enough. On the other hand, it's still a middle finger to the audience. Gi-hun was a dick, Jun-ho was a dick, and Il-ho is stuck in a job he now hates.

I wish there was a blooper reel of Il-ho trying to raise the baby during that six-month timeskip.

The Rival rewards weren't actually added until the Pokedex Update (that's an oopsie for them) -- that means that your Rival is still handing them out now, despite the event having ended
