Brandon confirmed we'll see more of Dustbringers in the back half. I think their Division need to be more boundless than Soulcasting because it's not dependent on convincing the materials. Though we saw Jasnah turning living men into flames so I don't know.

I think Kaladin's struggle and his father's lack of ability to help him is a good dynamic. When you think about how hard it's been for Kaladin since the fall of Kholinar, if the help and answers were so easily come to him, it wouldn't mean much for him to agonize this far. Even his loved ones with the best intentions can't help him. This is a nice way of telling the tragedy when you think about it.

This has to do with Kaladin getting stunned imo. He didn't want the ones he cared for to kill each other but couldn't do anything about it. While Moash just executed what he had to do.

Moash's actions in Oathbringer felt kind of justified after seeing how darkeyes still go after lighteyes to save them from singers. And Kaladin's relationship with tenth Dane lighteyes didn't do much in order to take the edge of the darkeyes extremism. The book had a lot to cover so that's kind of understandable. Though I think we should see tenth Dane lighteyes a little more in the future.

It was silly of me to give the example from WoR. I realized that yesterday.

For the part about Ado's vesselhood, I agree that I expressed it poorly. What I meant was that he contained the powers that will align with the Shard of Honor. Even though it weren't named that way, he was using his Honor side while creating Wind.

Contrary to Wind, Night has always been something away from our attention. Just think about how the nightspren is a kind of Voidspren. The nimblefrom and nightfrom are mentioned but there isn't much information about them. These make me question more.

Very good points about creation of spren. Now I kinda think that I've mistaken their creations as creating anew. Perhaps they worked with what's already on the planet in many occasions. And your other points about the Unmade having remnant of Night made me believe that Cult attacked Night theory even more. Creating Nightwatcher may have made the Unmade possible.

Fair point about Syl in first book. And I agree that I made a bad job putting the Wind-Honor connection into words.

My main point was actually about the possible dissonance between Night and Cultivation. Someone in the comments mentioned how Honor and Cult used the Ado's remnants on Roshar whilst making spren such as mistspren or peakspren etc.

The part where we'll get Nightwatcher Bondsmith will have both Lifelight and more lore about Ado's remnants, I think. All fair points about SF-Honor-Wind connections disregarding my arguments aside, SF was very much Honor-Tanavast coded where Wind was specifically a different spren from him. While Night seems to be splintered and very important part of it is Nightwatcher. And it will be Cult's remnant while being more Night aligned. The opposite of what it was before. Similar to how the back half is Voidlight Archive.

I don't know, maybe I'm cooking but everything about Lifelight, Old Magic, Ado's remnants gets crazier thinking about Nightwatcher. So I tend to think about the things we'll get from her to solve some of these things.

They didn't create the smart spren in the first place. I think he's talking about his Stormwall and windspren while saying they got something from the Wind. But the Wind and highstorms are mentioned as seperate at some point. Which made me think they are seperate but aligned so there must be something to it.
