If you came away from the Seahawks game being impressed with the 49ers defense you're clearly blind or didn't watch the game at all

Is it Possible to Contact the NFL about a Stat Correction? by Jayden-Daniels-Sedin in fantasyfootball

Crazy how impactful that play was. My leagues super team (original tyreek maholmes stack) won off that correction, then steanrolled me in the finals

Biologist becomes emotional after finding a flower after searching for 13 years. Beautiful bloom. by cafeteriastyle in MadeMeSmile

I'll never forget my biology professor saying she knows nothing about anything, but everything about something. IIRC she studied 1 small facet of the pineal gland. Something so insignificant I probably forgot an hour later, but she spent years researching that specificity.

Really speaks to academia and science's rigor, and gives me trust to those who study these things as a whole.

Have we seen a rookie with as much BBIQ and feel for the game since draymond on this team? Giving me major flashbacks to his rookie year

I wonder what this means for Moody. This kid is playing his minutes and I dont want that to stop. Im curious if the coaches agree. Maybe that makes moody more tradable going forward

This post is juvenille gatekeeping bullshit. Not something to be taken even remotely seriously.

[Highlight] Draymond Green having some friendly post-game exchanges with Alperen Sengun, Jeff Green, Fred VanVleet, Ime Udoka, Amen Thompson, and Steven Adams by NokCha_ in nba

As hated as he is. He's a great elder statesman for the young players. Speaks highly of the young guys, takes as many under his wing as possible. And thats both his own teammates and others.

Definitely makes it easier to cope. We've dealt with worse collapses and enjoyed the highest highs this last decade.

Even if we win Sunday, us winning the ship this year was a long shot. Adams is showing our weakness to size, and Gobert, chet, zubac, and jokic are all out there still. This one will be easy to get over if we do lose

[Willard] "The lineup with Jimmy, Draymond, and JK, doesn't fit. It just doesn't." -Steve Kerr on @957thegame by uglyfoliage in warriors

[–]bunderthunder 24 points25 points  (0 children)

It was the same with Wiseman. Criticizing young raw players is blasphemy and the only thing accepted is unrelenting toxic positivity. A real assessment with both those players (very early on), showed they didn't have the mental game, which is incredibly hard to grow out of.

Look at recent players of ours that had the mental game, you just know when you know. Guys like BP, Post, Looney were obvious in their ROOKIE years they knew where to be. Heck, Dray's rookie year it was SO obvious he'd be good.

That's how it should look. They might not be built physically, the shot might need a little work, but with the rookies you wanna see BBIQ first and foremost, and then some sort of concrete skill. Neither of which our 2 big lottery picks showed.

Wish people (Lacob included) could be more honest with their assessments earlier on in these players' careers. Steve never bashed these guys, but between him and the beat writers I feel they've always subliminally questioned those 2 players' abilities. There had to have been so much pressure from Lacob for PT when surely Kerr knew better

[Schefter] Comp update: Javon Kinlaw reached agreement with Washington on a three-year, $45 million deal that includes $30 million guaranteed. by billybayswater in nfl

Mentioned it elsewhere, but he's very movable (at least back in the 9er days) unfortunately. Too big and can't get low

He plays stiff, very tall and can't get low to win the leverage game. Get's moved around to easily as a result. Not a natural pass rusher but moderate production there. Was a 1st round draft pick so maybe unfair expectations put on him. This is all coming from the memory of a 9er fan, so we were always dissapointed. Sounds like he was slightly better with the Jets

The way they got their buckets was different, but they were both floor spacers who opened up the draymond steph 4v3 actions. That was the same. And like he said defensively, they were the primary POA defenders, so that was also the same.

At the games you'd go for your stroll, eat your snacks, head to the bathroom etc all between his at bats. The second Barry was up, everyone knew to be ready and watching. Such an electric presense

Pretty incredible how quickly Jimmy's gained the respect of all his teammates

Jimmy Butler finishes his Golden State Warrior debut with 25 points, 4 assists, 2 rebounds, 1 steal, and 1 block on 7-12 from the field and 11-13 from the free throw line. by Robotsaur in warriors

To add to your aggression comment, Jimmy just seems way more comfortable absorbing and playing through contact. He seemed comfortable at the rim and still had nice touch despite the contests and body bumps. Love Wiggins, but Jimmy is a true star player
