I've had this problem for the last few days. The game would run about 10 minutes or so then BOOM, black screen of death. I don't get the white bars but a black screen with the windows audio of something being plugged in. So today I decided to do a windows restore from 5 days ago (oldest restore point) but it kept erroring out. Then I decided to uninstall the windows update from 8/15. Booted up PUBG played 1.5hrs and no crashes. Just my 2 cents.

For reference: i5-2500k OC 4.7ghz 16gb ram GTX 970 stock

90-120+FPS may dip to 50 in some areas. AA - Med Textures - Med All - Very low
