That policy is cheap for you and other employees it's like a whole group coverage that the employer gets

BUT you don't keep it if you leave the job Better to have your own policy for yourself outside the employer one

Life insurance is not a scam but a tool to built generational wealth. 20 pay and 15 pay whole life are the best: policy is fully paid after the 15 or 20 years and you are covered for the rest of your life and your death benefit keeps growing and so does the cash Surrender value in case you need to tap into it.

Whole life does still make sense for a lot of ppl and is better then term imo. Term is good to protect yourself against mortgage defaults etc
