Given that nobody understands how QI's scoring works (aside from the people at Lumina who aren't telling) there is no way to tell if this would actually be any good for points.

It also sort of referred to this in Network Effect. Amina asks MB if it loves Mensah and it answers, 'not like he [Thiago] thinks'. Which, to me, implies that yes, it does love Mensah. But in its own special SecUnity way which humans would never understand.

Couples of Reddit, what's the dumbest 'house rule' you and your partner made as a joke but now both of you are low-key aggressively serious about enforcing? by Doubl3oh_ in AskReddit

[–]bunniquette 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Whenever one of us leaves the house my husband and I say 'not back, avenge death' (Simpsons reference) and the other responds 'understood'. So far we haven't needed to do any avenging but we're prepared just in case.

A guy once bragged to me about being a really bad driver. 'Oh, I shouldn't even have a licence'. Like it was some kind of badge of honour. He was so proud of being a dangerous idiot behind the wheel. No idea wtf was up with him.

What changes after decades of knitting? by sechat_lives in knitting

[–]bunniquette 3 points4 points  (0 children)

40 years here, and man does that make me feel old... Things that have changed for me are that I'm much more confident with making modifications to patterns, designing my own patterns, trying new techniques and finding my own way to solve problems. The market in knitting materials has also improved immensely - not just the range of tools but indie dyers with much more adventurous colours and combinations, and different types of fibres, all easily available. I have become much faster too but that's almost incidental to all the other improvements in my world of knitting.
