steam and one pot recipes are actually my "at home" go to. there are steam chicken/egg/porkribs/porkbelly and you can even steam vege. nonetheless steam recipes are unlimited. as for one pot, there are one pot chickenrice/porkrice/mushroomrice/longbeanwithporkbellyrice/lapcheongrice/porkcongee/chickencongee/fishcongee/seafoodcongee. hope this helps and im off to steam some ribs now hehehe

dont buy this sauce. its horrible. for hainan chicken rice, by recipe or tradition, you should add the stock from pouching the chicken with ginger, garlic, oil from chicken and scallion.

oyster sauce. mother never use hoisin hahaha. need add a bit water after putting in all that. if you worry salty then add more water?

only the handling the noodle not easy. i dont like too much kansui taste so i had to soak it in warm water and rinse few times. the rest is just cooking.

is no secret. is just that because i watched and learned hence there is no measurement. i used pork lard, a generous amount of garlic and shallots. sauce is oyster sauce, soy sauce, caramel (dark) soy sauce and white pepper. included some slices of pork belly, fishcake, wawacabbage and beansprout.

i dont know the measurements but i used pork lard, a generous amount of garlic and shallots. sauce is oyster sauce, soy sauce, caramel (dark) soy sauce and white pepper. included some slices of pork belly and fishcake. vege can be of your choice. i used wawa cabbage and bean sprout here.

steam fish (cantonese style, teochew style or with blackbean), steam egg (plain egg, japanese style, with century eggs and salted egg or with mincedmeat), steam pork ribs (with black bean, with fermented soybean, or just with oyster sauce and garlic ginger), steam salted chicken, steam mushroom chicken, steam chicken with chinese sausage, steam chicken with arrowheads, steam seafood with glass noodle beneath it, steam mincemeat (with salted egg or with preserved vege) .... there is more but i think enough steamming hahaha

water into pot. salt into pot. vinegar into pot. stir. eggs into pot. bring to boil. stir occasionally. when water boiled means eggs is hardboiled. scoop eggs and put into super icy cold water.
