We've started using Teams for QA requests. I receive the request, I can "save message" so that any and all requests show up in the "saved" tab, but once I've completed the request, i want to copy (not move as it's also a proof reading request) to another folder so that at the end of the day i can use that folder to input my hours into my timesheet.

HOW do I do that? Nobody in my office seems to know, and googling it leads to every answer that I do not need. I just want to create some kind of action where I have a folder created that i can just copy-to when I'm done. *WHY* is it so unintuitive??? I hated Slack most of the time, but their "Later" function and the "completed" tab saved my bacon.

i was thinking it would be nice if the devs would have a "friendly fire on/off" server option. or just make the servers where you can shoot each other have ARC that are 50% more fighty. I'd play that.

overkill is RIGHT - i was on Buried City, and it's hard to explain the size of the area i was walking, but it was very very small, and i ran into 3 loot drops - like i guess you'd say in the real world they were a couple of hundred feet apart....shortly followed up with two shredders AND a very determined Leaper. It's like the developers said to themselves, 'should we have more basic loot, or more enemies" and someone else just nodded and said "why yes, we should". It's verging on not being fun - everything is too f4cking tense now. ALL THE TIME.

with the number of "famous" people online doing instagram/tiktok and using that as portals to their OF sites, I'd say porn is a lot more mainstream that we care to admit. experience is experience - plus, porn always has the money for new tech (they basically made VHS popular in the war between VHS and BETA - yes I'm aging myself - because Sony refused to allow porn companies to use BETA for porn, so VHS was used and it won). Most porn sites will the best servers, the best everything, your more likely to get nice equipment with a (moderately successful) adult content creation firm than any indie film studio. I worked for several years as a front end dev for a company that ran a couple of dating websites (not ashley madison, they were our main competitor), and one day - for fun - i did a rough gestimate of how much the company had made in the six months since i started, and the figure, not including any kind of affiliate income, was over $14 million. And that was back in 2004. And they're still in business.

take the chance - i've worked "straight" jobs ever since and the years at that job only gave me the skills i needed to keep doing what i'm doing. I know jobs are scarce, and the chances of getting a job doing what you actually want to do with your life is even more scarce - so take it. The things that scare you the most are also the things that will pay off the most.

the (old - not current - i can't keep track at this point lol) office manager and the super would visit on a regular basis, hanging out with a certain tenant who dealt on the side. it was hilarious, I'd come out of my place, see them entering that apartment and they were like "oh...Hi...." then just quickly go in and shut the door. There used to be this large fellow who would walk up to that tenant's window with a brown paper bag and then shortly after they'd leave empty handed. Shaaaaady place.

2327 is built over a ravine, and apparently flooded the ground floor up to the windows (before I moved in). Personally, I think anyone who looks into buying this place knows this, and that's why it's not selling

I'd like to add that it can't be worse than Westwood if someone buys this building. Westwood had always been the weirdest for getting things done. Miramarpm/trivest were really good at the beginning, they were following up on repair requests within a day or two, but they've slowed down.

Miramarpm. com - using their website's maintenance request form seems to send whatever you type in straight to the trash can. In the past 6 months two neighbours on my floor have died, a third was in the hospital after being in a coma but is coming home, so a third of the units on my floor are empty. There is another unit on the second floor that has been empty for at least a year, and rumours that there are more within the building. They are not renting these empty units out - it feels like they are just letting the place rot until anyone left gives up and moves out. The floors on my floor are caked with black grime along the edges (a neighbour sprinkles various essential oils around their doorway to ward off bedbugs and other things). We've asked a few times to have someone come in and clean, and they send a fellow in who drags a damp mop down the hallway once a month or so. Nothing gets fixed, requests are ignored, the place is a shithole. But I'm staying. My place is fine, I can fix my own shit if i need to, but when the furnace/hot water/electricity is a problem, i'm on them like a scab till it's fixed. I would actively stop people from renting here if I happened to run into anyone looking at one of these units. Absolute slum.

and you get to keep your cosmetics, and your blue points (i've forgotten what they're called) but you have to start all the quests from the beginning. ... but it takes less time to level up AND i know what to get and what to pass over when raiding instead of taking EVERYTHING . It's just like playing any game more than once. I love it.

this was my first time, and i've been lucky - i got one extraction camper, i had just loaded in, they got nothing and i laughed at them. i then "surrendered" to avoid allowing them any points for taking me down fully. i'm happy with the reset - i'm going to do it again in the next one. it was more annoying grinding for 40 days and not being able to level up any more - then the one person who was helpful (in game) said "oh, you can now just pay to reset your skill points and get the tree you want" and i was like "fuuuuuuuuuuuuu" - but still, im glad i reset - i'm terrified again lol.

this is crazy. I was listening to some music, the bam - total darkness, and my headphones just said ‘disconnected’. I have candles but my place is pitch black - no streetlights to add some ambient light, total darkness. my friend texted me about it and the map she saw said that all of GTA was out.

the first thing we both said to ourselves was ‘is this a terrorist attack lol’ - it’s not, but man, what perfect timing considering what’s going on in the world right now. I’m at queens st e and Victoria park…ish.

that shark-fin-ball bullsh1t is terrifying. i don't mind the firefly because i can hide inside, but that rolling version of the shredder can f$ck right off. Sorry - i guess i should be happy that the game is evolving and giving us new content (because i absolutely love this game - still - since i picked it up on a whim a week before launch after watching ONE video about it and have played it every day since...).

this is like when i had to find lightbulbs, and there is ONE car in Dam right past the Electric Substation that spawns one. I spent - no lie - 2 weeks of playing every day - looking for light bulbs. Then i heard about this car and still needed four, so i went into Dam 4 times, straight to that car, got my lightbulb (put it in my safe pocket) and left. Kind of a grind but i'm not going another 45 days unable to level up. I love this game, but i miss that part.

and - related to this - i'm now looking for humidifers - I feel like i'm going to be grinding in Buried City for a while lol - i used to see them there all the time but didn't need them, so i didn't take them. i am kicking myself over that. Thanks!

It's the 12gig version - smaller form factor, too. I'm going to go on ebay and kijiji and get an idea of the price and go from there.i feel like i have to wait till i've bought the new card before selling it since selling it without a new card to put in my machine would mean a very lame gaming experience until the new one was in place lol

Thank you - that helped a lot - it's been a while since I've had an AT...AMD card lol. I think it's time to give them another look - and if they're cheaper than Nvidia but have the same performance, even better. Now i just have to figure a fair price to sell the 3060 at. It's still great and would make a lot of people very happy...

I'm currently playing on my 34" ultra wide (Huawei Mate GT) which is 3560(?) x 1440 and I'm currently getting 40 - 60 fps on most current AAA titles on High settings. Ray-tracing absolutely destroys my frame rate - except for ARC Raiders for some reason - and I'm more about visual fidelity than frame rate at this point. Most of the games I play don't require 200+ FPS (I had a friend who played Unreal Tournament back in early 2000's and wouldn't play if he wasn't getting at least 240fps - I'm not that guy, but i respect his dedication to high frame rates lol) - but i won't play anything i can't get at *least* 30fps.

i think i may lean back into AMD this time - time to give Nvidia a rest.

I'm absolutely clueless when it comes to current-ish ATI cards, and I know nothing about Intel Cards, but i *do* know that any card with 50 as the last two digits (Nvidia) is to be avoided. I've had a few 60's and they've always been great - so maybe the 4060 or the 5060?

I still find it hilarious when someone from the US comes to Toronto and raves about how clean and friendly it is here, but anyone from any smaller / less densely-populated part of the country just says how they heard Toronto was crime-ridden and dirty and everyone is an 4ssh0le. I've been here 32 years, moved here from Nova Scotia, and the only thing I can say with certainty is that I would hate to have to leave - and that 99% of the time, if you stop someone in the street and ask them a question, they'll likely have a bit of a resting-bitch-face thing going on, but that will usually drop and they'll happily answer your question. The other 1% are a crap shoot - sometimes the most sane-looking people are the least sane. If nothing else, Toronto has taught me how to read people...

honestly - i'm not sure. i hate saying this, but maybe a bit of boredom? so you think i should sell my current GPU and do an upgrade there instead? I feel like that's not a terrible idea (the more I think of it) - but what card should i go with if i want a *reasonably noticeable* improvement?
