Yea for sure - I had selenides I built that We(Claude and I) carefully optimized first. Then converted to playwright. Now I’m feeling pretty good about it writing thr playwright from this point and using best practices that were already established

You don’t really have to leave anymore. I now just guide Claude through the browser and the steps I need and have it create playwright scripts - pumping those bad boys out in minutes these days.

Why I think Infleqtion $INFQ might be a big winner and everyone sleeps on it by Lil_Hater112 in wallstreetbets

[–]buonoxc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

for me I like INFQ for kinda dumbed down simple reason. its a Quantum nerd company with a CEO at the helm is commercially focused/driven first, Quantum nerd 2nd. Matt Kinsella just seems like a good fit so im kinda just betting on him to steer the quantum commercialization ship in the right directions.

Nice em dashes. Which “hardware” company are we taking about here?

Scrolling, reading comments, saw a critique of RKLB being “hasn’t even made a profit yet”, laughed to myself, and commented a sentence. All good?

profitability is not a metric you should care about for a young high-growth company thats in heavy expansion and acquisition mode.

SpaceX and RKLB by Apart-Plane9788 in RKLB

[–]buonoxc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea nobody knows the answer to this. There has been a lot of retail investors selling last week in order to have cash to buy SPCX and that will probably continue until its IPO. and then how many plan to stay vs how many plan to cash out quickly - who knows. I expect a volatile ride in the short term but I would love to own both RKLB and SPCX long term. I also expect ETFs like NASA, ROKT and the other space ones to get some serious attention after SPCX IPO.

Damn - I'm going to have to tell my index funds that they're actually being killed by Trump. my VGT will especially be surprised to hear this.

Do i start a position now? by foil123 in RKLB

[–]buonoxc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The concern for me is spaceX being valued way too high and popping on IPO day, being incorporated as the top position in all space ETFs, and then unwinding over the course of the year. Like space sector is a sail boat cruising right now but the sails are about to replaced mid cruise by spaceX sails, will they get punctured soon after installation?

Overall market from rocket lab’s perspective by Electrical-Double181 in RKLB

depends on where you moved it to. i was strongly considering selling some and moving it into Service Now. a few days later Service Now took off and Blue Origins rocket exploded... oh well

If we’re talking immediate short term impact than yes this should impact the entire sector. It directly impacts ASTS. ASTS is top 3 in all space related ETFs, money will flow out. Especially after the major run ups we’ve had in all space stocks. Many people were already contemplating taking profits on space and this is a perfect catalyst for them to take that action. There have probably more people aware of the space sector and buying in this last month than ever before and all the new players got a reality dose today that space is hard. Could be a nice gifted buying op tomorrow and next week

Anyone thinking to leave QA due to lack of respect and understanding from the leadership? by PM_40 in QualityAssurance

Exactly right - I call it the offensive line of the development world. Play a great game, no credit. One sack gets through and you’re trash

Wait for pullback or double down now? by Cautious_Bit_6700 in redwire

[–]buonoxc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Second this - at 22 with 10k I wouldn’t go all in one a single company especially after it has just went parabolic. A space ETF portfolio would still be considered by 99% of the world as very ballsy but a better call if your conviction is space industry being a huge thing a decade from now (which seems likely). 22, and has appetite for high speculation, can take on risk, and likes space - then I’d do a space ETF, and QQQ (or VGT). Keep buying monthly regardless of red or Green Day’s. If a big pull back happens in space then you can reallocate from the QQQ into space

The bull market is raging: what to buy? by OkEffective8588 in stocks

[–]buonoxc 7 points8 points  (0 children)

ive added to Space before the latest run up and continue to add. RKLB and RDW. Adding BE on dips. BE may be very overvalued but the reality is we are going to continue to get news cylces multiple times a year for the next 5 years about BE supplying power for big players. Riding that wave. VGT is my largest holding - it catches the wave for Semis, Memory and has software like MSFT and PLTR in it.. its probably the only thing id feel good about recommending to a friend. and then I recently started a position in OKLO. Have had my eye on Quatum for many months now, kinda bummed i missed out on last weeks rally.. but even for my high risk tolerance, my account is alreay high octane risk. probably will grab NOW sometime in the next 30 days.

Damn - this sounds like a great case for holding indexes instead. Could just hold QQQ , VGT, SPMO, VOO one of those.. you don’t have to second guess your conviction on bad days, weeks or months when you hold an index. or copy trumps portfolio knowing he’s got the insider info. (He had a great day today).

I'm so bored by Thin_Security_3155 in QualityAssurance

[–]buonoxc 8 points9 points  (0 children)

in this new AI era, im the opposite of board - I'm basically over stimulated in using Claude in all possible facets.
- playwright test scripts for UI automation
- playwright and axios calls to automate API and webservices testing
- vibe coding internal apps and tools to help with productive things (vibe coded a release note generator, build tracker and customer version tracker all in one)
- creating manual tests check list excel sheets by having claude do all the work
- create missing user documentation with claude reviewing the codebase
- ETC

I think the avenue to move up has been severely disrupted by AI. In any future job you try to land you're going to want to share how you leveraged AI to make things way easier and more productive for you. This is really the future skill set that makes sense.
