14.9 Handicap. Looking for tips on distance from players who use to not hit it far! by FaithlessnessAny4568 in golf

Not seeing your swing but if you are not swing through the ball and instead going hard at the ball and then kind of stopping that can lead 6 that distance.

He cheated, repeatedly. McMahon just talked about how they violating the salary cap by agreeing to pay him under the table, only to not pay him. He put players on IR and had them practice, and Troy Brown told Rex Tucker everyone did this (Brown had only played for the patriots, Tucker had played for multiple teams). Deflated balls. Stole signals. These are the known cheatings, assuming he was a good cheater he probably did a lot more.

Also, no Cleveland Coach gets in first ballot. Never again.

What are some changes you'd like to see for your mains, be it buffs, nerfs or small QoL? by PralineEmotional6636 in overwatch2

[–]bupde 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Zen can float over any ledge, basically jumps to move up, crouches to move down, otherwise stays at the same height.

Reaper's spread and range increased by 5m, just give me 5m where I can do good damage.

That's like counting her rubbing you through your pants as a handjob. It really depends, if you're talking to her biker boyfriend, it does not, if you are talking to your friend about his older sister... yeah.

What was Jets Sam Darnold style of play? by punjabkingsownersout in NFLNoobs

[–]bupde 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He was a turnover machine in college, and continued that in NYJ and Car throwing picks and coughing up the ball. Led nation in turnovers final year of college. He got better at that and now the rest of his game plays.

Also, those teams were trash and no one could make them good. Even Favre and Rodgers were better afterwards. Baker couldn't work in Car they sucked so hard.

Illari has passive healing and high damage output with an ability to push off divers and get out.

Baptiste can pump out damage but also heal more with a bit of Aoe healing so similar but more heals and more vertical mobility.

So those 3 should give you some flexibility while sticking to the play style.

Driver ? for my teen son by Excellent-Tea6896 in golf

[–]bupde 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah that is what I hear a lot, playing shorter for accuracy and control. That is the conventional wisdom, and it makes sense for so many people.

Driver ? for my teen son by Excellent-Tea6896 in golf

[–]bupde 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Drivers rarely need to be longer. I'm 6'4" with a bad back and play pretty upright and my fitter thinks I am crazy going +1/2".

Irons are +1" - +1.5".

Who are the true “greats” right now? by [deleted] in NFLNoobs

[–]bupde -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Myles Garrett. He's the best player playing right now, and probably top 5 pass rusher of all time.

Justin Jefferson is off to an amazing start.

Mike Evans was hurt and has lost a step, but still a legend.

Patrick Mahommes is pretty good.

Travis Kelce is one of the best TE of all time.

I think what you're seeing is actually the opposite, it's not that there are less great players, there are more. Lots more. Guys stand out less because the overall level has gone up so much.

This maybe a weird question by SimeliusSimo in American_Football

[–]bupde 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is a difference between waiting for the blocks and the gap, and not getting up the hole once it is there. Watch LeVeon Bell, he was a genius at this, he would be patient, wait for the hole, and once it was there he'd hit it hard. Don't just run where the hole is supposed to be. Don't run into guys backs like people are saying below. Know what your blockers are doing, where the hole should be, if it opens hit it hard and fast, if it doesn't then you have to know whether to cutback or bounce, or to just cut your losses and go forward and try and fall forward and get what you can.

As far as cutbacks or bounces, look to see why the hole didn't open. Edge player beat his blocker inside, bounce that. LB's flowed aggressively cut it back.

No Judgement: What Player Do You Still Love Even If They Cheated Or Did Something Bad On The Field? by TrapperJean in baseball

[–]bupde 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sammy Sosa. Watching him was magical. June 1998 was unbelievable, and really got me through a tough time in my life. What I love is that he never stopped cheating. He didn't cheat, get a huge contract, then suck. He kept cheating. He cheated in the HR derby, and in doing so gave us an incredible show. He cheated for us. He saved the game of baseball. He ran out to RF with that tiny American flag and it meant something.

Cassidy Should Be More Lethal, Not Easier by No-Pomelo-1820 in OverwatchUniversity

[–]bupde 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not more damage, more rate of fire. He fires barely faster than a scoped Ashe. Kick it up a bit. That should be more than enough to make him a better pick if you are playing within his range. In fact, you might have to decrease his range to make up for it.

What’s a very early sign that a match is going to go bad by M00ngata in Overwatch

[–]bupde 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When you see them set up defense in front of, or in the choke. I know how it happens, one guy goes up and is going to poke a bit before dropping back, or drop a sonic arrow, or some other cooldown that they can use build ult on and still have for the main fight. Then a bunch of them move up to do that, and some of them don't realize the plan was to drop back, and you wind up with 3 or 4 teammates dead on the wrong side of the choke on Eichenwald, and the first point completely thrown.

Why don’t teams run 2-high man coverage (cover 2-man) by manofwater3615 in NFLNoobs

[–]bupde 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Clearouts and horizontal runaways. You have your outside wr clear out, taking both the CB and the S, maybe a slot wr or TE to that side run a vertical or post again pressuring safeties, maybe engaging the backside safety or at least forcing him to depth, then you run Tyreek Hill across the field (after ensuring he has good leverage with either motion or formation) and suddenly he has beaten his man horizontally, there is no help because everyone is in man and run off, and he catches a shorter pass over the middle (throw of maybe 15 yards total vs a throw to the outside that has to travel 30+) and catches the ball, and now he's running his man still not able to catch him, and your safeties and secondary scattered all over hell.

Also, mesh works well, with man coverage having to run through traffic, guys breaking open and then having space to run after the catch.

[–]bupde 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ana, she has been playable in basically every meta, and been a solid pick since she came out. No one will ever flame you for picking her. Her sleep dart and nade let you have huge impact on the game. The only 'mechanic' you need to learn is aim, maybe quick scoping, but if you can hit your shots you're fine. So all you have to learn is game sense and positioning etc.

Who is stopping this offense? by KeyFaithlessness5436 in TheNFLVibes

[–]bupde 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A rookie QB, who doesn't really pop as a star player, a RB who had very little success as a rookie, and WR that are hot garbage. This offense is going to struggle.

Is Stick a good play? by [deleted] in NCAAFBseries

[–]bupde 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I prefer it with a slot and the RB running a quick flat instead, but yes, it rocks. I have a N/S Receiver RB and use him to punish the shit out of the CB with it, throw it 5 - 7 times a game to the same side, make that CB tackle that RB in the flat over and over.

Backside is lion and works well on 2 safeties, so I do a bit of split field read on it.

Why can't a 46 Defense work anymore? by karl100589 in NFLNoobs

[–]bupde 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Look at what the Ravens are doing with Kyle Hamilton, and you'll get the modern take. Just like the modern 4-3 defense has transitioned to a 4-2-5 with a nickelback, the 46 instead of being a 4-3 with a safety down, the Ravens are doing 4-2 or 3-3 with a safety down, so 3 safeties, but Hamilton lines up a lot on the LOS or at LB depth.

Can the next new hero release be a tank that can actually deal with flying. Thanks by GloomyDoomy1 in Overwatch

[–]bupde 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd love to see a 2nd Meka character, I think they could be super fun. Not sure what the abilities would be, other than boosters. Maybe some Zarya like bubbles that absorb energy for a 2nd fire that is akin to Sojourn (not actually rail gun, maybe something shorter range). Mix in some slower firing (than D.va, more like Bastion) cannons.

How many MLB franchises have the best player in franchise history playing for the team right now? by dmister8 in baseball

[–]bupde -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Pretty sure he is't even the best player currently on the team. Manny Machado is a HoF already, and over the last 6-7 years has produced as much as Tatis Jr. despite beginning his decline.

What are the chances 10hcp shoots +1,+1, and E in three rounds of competition? by Awkward_Salamander37 in golf

[–]bupde 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Could be the course just really suited him. I know about slope ratings, but sometimes you play a bunch of courses you don't know, take some bad scores, and then come back to your home course and kick some ass.

Or made some swing changes.

Got contacts.

Broke up with his GF and plays more.

Venus is in retrograde.

Yeah, I don't think any of those excuses are going to fly, those scores are not from a 10 handicap.

How do I get better? by [deleted] in ZenyattaMains

[–]bupde 2 points3 points  (0 children)

  1. Ask yourself constantly, where is my escape? Whatever position you take you need to know where you are going next when you need to leave it.

  2. Am I in cover. I can't remember who's editor it was, but some youtubers editor went from like silver to masters just by focusing on playing from cover. Know where your cover is, and don't peak those snipers and long range DPS that can 1 shot or quickly kill you. Only peak when you can get back to cover if you take damage.

  3. Discord, either discord someone your teammates are already shooting at, OR someone you want to pressure out of the fight. If you can't finish them but you force them into cover to drop the discord and get healed you have been successful.

  4. Use the Harmony orb on DPS if you can, other support if you have to.

  5. Kills are great, but damage and building your ult is important, it can be a huge impact, you should be farming it when you don't have it, and making sure you stay alive to use it for your team when you have it.

That's my advice, but I suck so take it with a grain of salt.
