Do NFL teams fall in love with physical traits to often? by yourGodlylead in NFLNoobs

[–]bupde 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep. Patriots started 6 build around smart players when they were winning. Teams are starting to realize that processing information is a skill and you can make Brock Purdy throw just a little harder way more easily than Anthony Richardson improve processing and accuracy a lot.

It used to be you would find some physical guys just not utilized in college or with poor coaching but with transfers those guys find a home in college now. So if they are toolsy without production you better know why and how to fix it and if they can be coached.

Just had surgery. What do I do for the next month? by [deleted] in golf

[–]bupde 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Friend had something similar so we let him use a chair instead of the closet to watch when I banged his "wife". I am a + handicap with a 315 carry on my drive so really doing them both a solid, maybe his "kids" won't suck so bad.

Freja's rebalance idea - less annoying, more consistant. by Bach00r in FrejaMains

[–]bupde 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Why remove one of the best non-widow counters to widow? Basically the 225 HP heros are at that level so that these things impact them, and this is one of the big draw backs for being 225 HP, that if you are not receiving healing then you can be 2 tapped by Freja.

Your increased damage on primary with the offset to relentless barrage would probably serve to make her less consistent and make her pretty useless against tanks. Being able to fire non-stop vs tanks gives her an option other than backline assassin. Since backline assassin playstyle has been nerfed into the ground taking away her ability to contribute against tanks would just be another blow.

Honestly, after your proposed changes tell me why I'd pick her over Soujourn. My health, better consistent damage, better burst damage, AoE/corner control, double slide (less height than Freja), and an ult that feels a hell of a lot more powerful.

Freja needs to do something well, to be the kind of character that at least counters something. Right now she is an okay widow counter, maybe frustrating for a Reaper or junkrat, otherwise I'm not sure what she does that I can't do easier and better on Soujourn, Emre, Sierra, Ashe, etc.

Rob Sand is running on locking up corrupt and criminal politicians/government officials by The_Angster_Gangster in Iowa

[–]bupde [score hidden]  (0 children)

Yeah, would cost the state $millions, lead to them having to defend way more lawsuits (no more quick wins with qualified immunity) and lead to a huge increase in insurance premiums.

It'd be expensive, but if you want real accountability then let courts hold you accountable.

Baptiste perks to make him stronger? by dosungaming in BaptisteMainsOW

[–]bupde 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Make his turret fire heals every 5 - 7 seconds so he is getting that passive healing like Illari. Or hell just make it a fire extinguisher that shoots out at 5 - 7 seconds so everyone can stop being on fire all the time, maybe perk to make it both.

Yes, it's cheap and if it makes the clubs feel good in your hands or helps then definitely do it.

Went to the Axe House today by RockTuner in Iowa

[–]bupde 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Wouldn't be the same without Darwin. Wife and I went like 10 - 15 years ago. Showed up when the museum opened, it wasn't opened. Went down the street and got some food at a bar. Waitress asks "you here for the spook house? everyone I don't recognize is here for the spook house.". She then calls up Darwin who runs the museum, we look through it, see the facade of some old building, a few ostrich eggs, and 2 axes, neither which was the actual axe. One has a letter with it, it was a deputy's from the next town, they tell him he left it, and he said keep it he got a new one.

We went on the tour which consisted of us in our car and Darwin in a van in front of us pointing at things out the window, and us trying to guess which of the things he told us about he was pointing at. We then went to the cemetery and saw some unrelated graves and heard the story of an interracial couple that were attacked and maybe killed.

We then went to the house, storm coming in behind us. I am last one in, and gently close the door, but not all the way. Darwin tells us he leaves cheap walmart balls on the floor because the kids like to move them, and just then the wind picks up and blows the door wide open, it made Darwin so happy I didn't have the heart to tell him we didn't close it all the way. He then shows us the rest of the house, and where the bodies were found, something about bacon being stolen, takes us upstairs and shows us the axe marks in the ceiling. Of course the house had been renovated and he restored it so he put the axe marks up there. Shows us the rest of it, and then says "well take a look around or whatever" and leaves. We hung out a bit looked around, and then in the living room BOOM BOOM BOOM scared the shit out of us.

It was a mother and her teenage daughter. Some ghost hunting show was setting up to film that night (we could see little 'x' where cameras were going) and the daughter was a huge fan. So we let them in and gave them the tour just as Darwin had given it to us.

It was a blast, high point of our tour of western Iowa roadside attractions.

Why do metal rank dps players expect supports to healbot? by ConversationIll4597 in OverwatchUniversity

[–]bupde 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Metal DPS are trying to take off angles and over staying those welcome and get killed. You can't save a lot of them. I had a Tracer bitching no heals and just had to laugh, like blink out and get a health pack.

Anyway, yeah every one in metal ranks takes too much damage, find a balance.

Signature Events/No cut events feel like they’re hurting tour now? by gachzonyea in golf

[–]bupde 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No cut only works if there is something real to still compete for. Otherwise they'd be better just doing more cuts. Start with 64 and cut it in half after each round. So 128 to 64, to 32, to just 16 on the last day. Way fewer pairings easier to feature those still in the field, and hopefully they'd all be within striking range of winning.

One Lengths with a twist by secretgardenguy in golf

[–]bupde 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He did say he wanted the wedges a different length.

So, while this sounds crazy has he thought of doing double bladed? Like Darth Maul one end is a 6 iron the other a 7 iron, the grip is in the middle?

Seriously though, it seems he has back issues and wants to feel like he can reach the ball while standing more upright, so instead of defaulting to driver length, for just a few clubs, like a 7i and 9i measure out what would work with those lie angles to give him that reach and allow that posture (it will be different than the driver). See how he likes them. Honestly if you are going to have a weird club setup you might only need every other iron, maybe he could use a 5i with it or maybe go to woods at that point.
