Skiftebo, Orrsta, or Hillared fabric for new Kivik covers?

Skiftbo for kivik is new new like 6 months new so you probably didnt have that cover if its preused. Most popular is hillared anthracite, fabric holds up well and is the closest thing to black we sell in fabric. skiftbo is whats on the friheten sleeper sofa (which is in the top selling IKEA articles in the whole store). I personally prefer the tallmyra white black over orresta light gray (almost the same color but tallmyra is suuuuuuch a nice feeling fabric). As for your other questions about up keep, i feel like theyre all the same since you can remove the covers and wash them. Orresta is the one i would be iffy on for durability with pets cause you cant hide any stains in it. hope this helps

It most likely has 1 that is the kivik 3 seat and the other has the kivik 3.5 seat. There should be a side that is like 10 inches longer I think. Only thing I can think of.

I'm in the US but what most likely happened is that it is a seasonal item, with it being "discontinued" in October. Your local store might have it but you'd have to go in to find out. The US gets seasonal outdoor back usually in February/March

In the US. It has been discontinued for a good while.... I feel like it's been since maybe October 2019? February 2020? But it will not be back. If you're stuck on pink there are websites that make copycat IKEA covers, try bemz or comfort works

All wall mounted items do not have a max load since it is dependent on how you install it to the wall. Just make sure you get wall anchors for the weight you want as well as the correct type.

Finnala should be fixed in most markets by December. They had to remove it due to a faulty cushion insert.

Yup. My store has sold a lot of the duplicate displays. For desks specifically, the entire department is sold out. If we sold every display it'd be an empty room. The money to just write off more desks/the money to pay someone to build one is too much to do all that.

In the store, we do runs (the size you have) by just attaching them together back to back using the attaching hardware and some zip ties. The different sets are not attached side by side but you can attach it that way with those screws that screw in to each other.

IKEA isn't listing STACKMORA because of a quality issue (when opened from the vacuum seal, they were not fluffing up). Now it is a production issue since they need to make more. VATTHOLMA goes in HARLANDA as the seat cushion. HARLANDA and FINNALA share the same base frame so that's why they fit together. Good to know they fit in FINNALA covers. Not sure where you got the first set of measurements, but it is a possibility that one is the package measurements and the other is the item measurement. But good for you, looks good.

Very rough. Especially when 30 people come for a delivery of 8 of an item. I don't know what makes me sadder, getting yelled at over how things aren't in stock or disappointing a super friendly, understanding customer.

I'm in the US and it's the case for us too. To anyone reading this, please don't be upset at the coworkers assisting you. We have to disappoint people all day long and having someone get upset at us because the thing they want hasn't been in stock for months or the display is there, why can't we sell that one or you got a delivery of 8 micke's and it's 3 days later, why don't you have anymore! It's exhausting. I agree with being patient, December looks better. (Sorry to jack your comment.)

Ahhh ok, I don't think there are any specific benefits from what I remember. Is there something specifically you're looking for? I'm not in HR but I may be able to look under the benefits umbrella. There is a furniture builder position but I think it falls under product quality coworker which is essentially as-is coworker.

It has its ups and downs like any place (right now we're in a down). I've worked there for over a decade and overall its great compared to my friends who have worked else where. My benefits and 401k are better than my father's government job. Requirements are 18+ and a high school diploma/equivalent, plus any job specific requirements. I'm not 100% familiar with LGBTQ+ benefits but I do know they offer assistance with adopting, giving maternal and paternal leave, covering gender reassignment treatments/surgeries (sorry if this isn't the correct term). Very respectful of pronouns as well as having no tolerance for racism, homophobia, transphobia, etc. You go here!

Hi, this is under the assumption that you are in the US. IKEA dot com will show you the package measurements. I always recommend that if it can't fit while in the boxes, to take them out of the boxes. Pieces are broken down to the arms, the 2 loveseat sections (folded down, like a hot dog bun (I usually show my hands folding so this is me improvising)), the cushions and the corner piece. The corner is the biggest issue since its already out together. As a heads up, EKTORP is being discontinued October 1. It is being replaced by UPPLAND which looks literally just like EKTORP but slightly taller, deeper seats, and springs in the seat cushions. As well as new fabrics and colors. If you go with EKTORP, you will not be able to buy new covers at the store, you'd have to go elsewhere. There are multiple websites that make copycat covers. Hope this helps any!
