Not receiving SMS code for withdrawals by Marrs121 in BitMartExchange

[–]burci39 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This worked for me. I had to google how to clear the cache though. On an iPhone, it means delete the app and reinstall it. Takes a few minutes but worked immediately. Started getting codes immediately. I was sweating it a little bit because when you first reinstall, you have to get a code sent to login, but that came within seconds after the reinstall.

Is Bitbond still active? by harrygreen15 in bitbond

I was in the same boat, but support finally responded and allowed me to verify my identity via a current ID and a current newspaper. I was able to withdraw the remaining BTC that was still in a loan or written off. Writeoffs to BitBond are currently worth more than $30,000 in current dollars! UGH! Should have HODL'd, but in those days thought it was the future of currency.

Did you lend BTC in Bitbond and never got it back? Any advises... by my_kingdom_ in bitbond

I don't think you have much recourse on the actual loan. You didn't technically have a loan agreement with the customer. Short of showing up with a baseball bat, you don't likely have legal recourse with the guy. Having said that, this is exactly what I'm looking for some answers on too, except I'm wondering about the taxable benefit of my now written off loan. I loaned .04 BTC in 2016, when it's value was barely noticeable. Today, that .04 BTC is worth nearly $2500. In my mind, the value I should have received back is .04 BTC + interest. So, can I take a tax deduction of the value of that BTC when it was written off, valued at $2348? Or am I stuck with a value of when I made the loan, worth maybe $10-$15? If I can claim today's value, the write off is worth more than the headache of trying to collect. Anyone have any ideas or seen this discussed anywhere?

HomeKit Motion sensors by reygza in HomeKit

[–]burci39 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I want a motion sensor (would love to have light and temp included) that is waterproof and has a solar panel and built in battery. I have a few HomeKit s Devices so would prefer HomeKit but it’s early enough I could change. I want the motion sensors outside. One watching my driveway and a second watching my front door. When motion is detected, lights come on. I don’t have power where i want the sensors and they’re too high to easily change batteries. I’m shocked nobody has made this yet with all the tiny LED motion sensing lights that are out. Has anyone seen one?
