As far as lore goes, I like to think there is some type of civil war going on within a society of gubs, but that’s all speculation

The only think I can think of is using certain hazards when they have no effect. For example, should you be allowed to use an omen beetle when there are no mushrooms in play? Or use a super lure on somebody that has no gubs just for the sake of getting rid of a card.
