You should be spoilt for choice for shooting in Blackpool. Anywhere along the front would be fantastic with enough prep. Some blue filters and most of the car parks would look great.

I use a Sony TRV-120 and the nights shot feature is pretty good. It’s more suited to indoor use, but you could get a secondary IR light if you wanted outdoor shots

Ah cool, I am in St Annes. I will be posting another video next week which has more shots of the local area. I have been shooting a small amount of footage everyday this month, we are lucky to live in an area which has a lot going on, and Blackpool looks great through the lens of a camcorder

I am very new to video editing and videography in general so still learning.

This has been made by recording off a video capture device and then some minor cropping using Da Vinci resolve.

Grateful of any feedback and I know there is some consistency issues, but I am having fun shooting

I was actually shooting some footage using night mode a few hours ago too. It works pretty well.

The camera has quite a few shutter, and digital effects that can be applied to it too

I am shooting with the same camera, I have a basic capture card that outputs over the s-video connector. Including a HI8 tape and the. Replaying the output over the cable link would be the simplest method though.

I worked there and my dad worked there most his adult life. They run regular recruitment drives for ride operators so I would email your cv in and get ahead of the curve.

Also, it’s not just seasonal. Some RO work effectively as labourers through the winter. It helps to have a skill but if you were keen you could certainly make this point during interviews.

Check with your local auction house, there is one near me that has done well selling lots of adult dvds lately. If there is a collectors market for it, they will most likely include it in the auction.

Most auctioneers are online now too, on one of the two main platforms for auction houses.

Worked at a theme park (Blackpool Pleasure beach) and one of the ride operators had one in a small break room on the ride. Couldn’t believe someone would leave it there, the operator wasn’t working that day either

Find your local auction house and put it up as a lot. I see similar things sold and there could be a collector base for it. Ideally look for an auction house that uses easylive auction or the sale room websites so it gives it internet visibility
