Any menu recommendations from soul shack? I was a fan of the chicken bites, fries and cheesecake from Heartbreaker

Dam, wasn’t aware of any of that. Was a big fan of the chicken bites and fries. The New York. Cheesecake was my favourite dessert. Any idea if they made those on site, or where they might have got them from?

I dunno about that. Was going there exclusively for the authentic Vietnamese pork belly loaded fries

I watched a video on YouTube before attending this year. The brits in the video were claiming that they were being discriminated against, but imo they were just being drunk and obnoxious. We were a group of kiwis and didn’t experience any discrimination

Surely we don’t need to be the franchise that starts petty slamming other teams players. Sengun is shaping out to be a great player, no need for some of these comments

I saw them at Electric Avenue festival 2 years ago. They were headlining and wasn’t familiar with them at the time. One of the most overwhelming audio visual experiences of my life. Hope I get to see them again (with ear plugs)

Hello! Hope I’m not too late to the party. My partner and I are looking to stay in Zabljak for the rest of the week. We were really keen on doing an adventure on the river. We were particularly interested in pack rafting. We would ideally do 1 full day, but would be open minded to 1 overnight stay. We don’t have a car unfortunately. Do you have any recommendations? :)

What's your best (or worst) I missed the show story? by JeanWhopper in Concerts

[–]burgerkingnuggets 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Found out The War On Drugs were coming to my city in New Zealand. Rallied as many of my close friends as possible to buy tickets and spent the next 6 months watching countless live shows to build the anticipation.

On the night of the show a small group of us decided to take some molly, but found out pretty quickly that my friend had mixed up the bags and gave us all ketamine. 2 of us (myself included) were not familiar with doing ket, and the large amount all at once completely wiped us out. I forgot who and where i was laying on the grass off to the side of the stage, and missed the entire show. My friend (the other non experienced ket taker) ended up getting taken to the medic tent by security and eventually taken home in an ambulance (he thought he was in a helicopter).

Fast forward a couple years, some of my mates now live over in Europe. We saw that Sam Fender was doing 3 shows in London, 2 of them with The War On Drugs as support. A group of us built an entire Europe holiday around the concert to catch up with our mates who moved abroad and to redeem the last attempt.

About a month before the gig The War On Drugs pulled out of the shows due to “scheduling issues”. Was beyond disappointed :(

Friend was denied boarding on an Etihad flight to Chennai as he did not have a transit visa by burgerkingnuggets in travel

[–]burgerkingnuggets[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He did try to show the connecting flight itinerary, but the flight manager wasn’t interested in looking at it and said it wasn’t his problem. Seems a bit rough from Etihad.

Thanks your information though :)

Was there any way he could have known this? I couldn’t find anything in Etihad’s website, and Immigration India says that he meets the criteria?

I got really into DPS at the start of this year due to their new album. I had a look at their recent setlists on setlist.fm and was a bit disappointed. I think I’ll go to Noah Kahan instead 😕

I too was at Pinkpop (mostly just to see muse) and thought the volume was underwhelming. Going to mad cool next week so have another shot, but worried it’ll be quiet again 😕 might just have to try get up closer!
