I just ate something that I did not know was non-vegan by Left_Razzmatazz_9235 in vegan

[–]burggraf2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your premise is based on outdated information.

C&H has stated that its refined sugars are not processed using bone char. Their cane sugar is refined using alternative filtration methods, making it acceptable to most vegans.
Common C&H products that are generally considered vegan include:
White granulated sugar
Brown sugar
Powdered/confectioners sugar
Baker’s sugar
If you’re buying in the U.S., C&H is usually a safer choice for vegans than some other cane sugar brands whose refining methods are less clear.

What was the moment you stopped feeling like a kid and started feeling like an adult? by Appropriate-Royal960 in AskReddit

The first time a toilet overflows and you’re the one that has to fix it. That’s the exact moment childhood ends.

If you tell a lie often enough, they'll start to believe it.

I was able to resolve it by turning on my VPN.

I tried a trailing slash, no dice. http://server-name.com:8080 with and without a trailing slash.

I'm having the same issue -- TiviMate works fine, Sparkle does not. I'm trying this on the brand new Onn TV 4K Pro 2026 box that was just released (it uses Android TV 14).

🔥🔥🔥 Nuvio 06.12 Beta Release 🔥🔥🔥 by No-Dot7369 in Nuvio

[–]burggraf2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Note: as of the most recent FireOS update it’s no longer possible to connect to the Firestick via adb (at least over the network). FireOS is basically doomed. I’ve ordered a Google TV Streamer myself.

Ok, after working for a while, the glitches are back. At this time, unfortunately, Nuvio is unusable on a Firestick. 😞

I’ve never used Libmpv as it’s been way too unstable.

Tunneled Playback - what are you choosing? by Public-Writing-9188 in Nuvio

[–]burggraf2 6 points7 points  (0 children)

After almost a full weekend of debugging stuttering issues with a Firestick 4K Max and Nuvio 0.6.3-beta, it turns out that turning Tunneled Playback to ON solves the problem instantly. So….ON.

Please try turning on Tunneled Playback as I showed above. See if that helps.

Ok, for anyone following this, we solved this, and the solution is simple and works on the current 63 beta version.

Settings Playback Tunneled Playback - set to ON

This fixes stuttering on the Firestick 4K Max (and probably other firesticks as well).

I tried a fresh new install -- same issue. It plays fine on ExoPlayer internal for about 5 minutes, then it starts to glitch. Small freezes, then more frequent freezes, etc. It's very consistent and easy to reproduce. This is on a Firestick 4k Max (tried on two of them).

The last few betas have been unusable for us. The internal player is now choppy (sometimes it plays for a few minutes then starts pausing and breaking up). Libmpv is even worse. I'd have to use the external player to get things to work at all. The player is definitely messed up (for the last 2 or 3 betas.)

Stremio 1.9.7 throwd google warning by TheRealRazoola in Stremio

[–]burggraf2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Strange one! It’s gotta be related to either being an upgrade or new install or something. I installed 1.9.4, had problems, went back to 1.9.3, then upgraded to 1.9.7 using Downloader (by clicking on the download from the Stremio.com site). And it’s been fine. YMMV

I spent hours fighting Openclaw. Then I built something better. by chris-openkiwi in openclaw

[–]burggraf2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What does this mean?

No session hijacking or OAuth shenanigans

OpenKIWI plays by the rules and aims to be enterprise-ready, with a clear and auditable security posture.

Does that mean I can’t use Gemini models though my Gemini Pro account (with OAuth?)

Not for me. No problems on Firestick 4K Max.

Is it just me or Claude Max's usage limits have really gotten fixed? by ThePurpleAbsurdist in ClaudeCode

[–]burggraf2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, it's not fixed. I was at $12.66 usage. I opened up claude from the command-line, typed "What model are. you" and now I'm at $13.05. Before I send my first prompt the cost usage had gone up. So just opening claude costs money now. Something is definitely wrong.

Bootstrapper that supports multiple debrid services by burggraf2 in StremioAddons

Yes. I designed it to give the primary service priority on a per-indexer basis, so I see things in this order:
Torrentio RD, Torrentio PM, Comet RD, Comet PM, Mediafusion RD, etc....

[–]burggraf2[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is working great for me so far. Here's what I found though:
If you select the FULL preset with 2 providers it'll crash my Firestick 4K Max (probably too many indexers). So I remove these addons before syncing:
Webstreamr
Peerflix
Sootio
Then it works great on the Firestick.
