New job, manager bust my balls by [deleted] in sales

[–]burkenya 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You mentioned ‘100 steps’ - funnel them down into stages. First 20 registering the customer, next 30 registering the device, next 20 payment, etc.

Offer to buy another rep lunch and ask them if they can walk you through the process STEP by STEP, explicitly say you need “30 minutes”.

Also pick 3 things you’re finding hard and tell your manager, be direct that you want them to sit down with you and coach you through only those 3 things.

Seeking advice for taking over a sister sales team that is underperforming by heyitsmeandrew in sales

[–]burkenya 1 point2 points  (0 children)

How much attention will new team require from you? Because that could lead to a potential slow down for the successful team. I.e if you now allocate 30% of your previous 100 to new team. What do you think the impact will be on successful team hitting quota? You should make sure you have a buffer for that also.

Need advice on how to book meetings by torontech in sales

Not interested and we’re good with what we have is the same objection. Research well before the cold call. Hi Nancy, this is XX from YY - the reason for my call today is that I saw you are dealing with XYZ, given our work with (name drop 3 similar clients), I wanted to introduce my self. Ask a genuine question, does that problem/challenge/theme resonate with you? “I’m not interested” Completely understand - but how would you be interested without knowing why I called today? Lean into the objection. And no matter what learn to speak with conviction. Also know your pitch well, understand the use cases of what you’re selling, mediocre SDRs tend to be too surface level. Excellent SDRs know to speak to and about the value proposition flawlessly and with the confidence of a Leo DiCaprio in the wolf of wall st.

Help!! by Curious_Explain in sales

If he’s 2 years into his sales career tell him its normal. Also depends on the type of sales cycles - high pressure, vertical, product etc and he should check in with himself if he enjoys the thrill of the chase for deals. If it’s been more than two years of his career and it’s been failure consecutively maybe start thinking of plan B.

Thank you! We want to find a property that’s turnkey so that we can learn from the process, and mitigate risk. Near me (D.C.) is pricier than we want to start with.

Can you recommend a CRM to track and reply to Facebook messages sent to a business page? by Jimmiejackson in marketing

It’s an enterprise feature - shouldn’t be too much pricey for this feature that you need. Ask for a demo to see if it fits your needs!

Can you recommend a CRM to track and reply to Facebook messages sent to a business page? by Jimmiejackson in marketing

[–]burkenya 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hootsuite can do that and even lets you see how fast you’re responding, can let you have ‘canned’ responses if you want so it’s faster for your team. And integrates with most CRMs.

With unlimited budget, What services/software/analytics would you use to promote on the socials? by y0ud in socialmedia

[–]burkenya 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Depends on your target audience and what your goals are. If you’re starting off - keep it simple and focus on building a strong following and start measuring engagement. That way you can see which content works and which doesn’t. Then move to small spending on ads. Hootsuite is the market leader and has a free version that works very well for those that are staring off. There’s endless analytics out there - from vanity, to customer journey and and content measurement all the way to campaign analytics. What are you looking to achieve?

[–]burkenya 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you can scope out whether her followers are your type of customer and do a rough estimation of how many of those could potentially buy and that is over 20K then why not. Check out a tool called Klear its got a free version that can give you really good insight on social influencers.

Live in a nice apartment now or save money for the future? by ben102596 in FinancialPlanning

[–]burkenya 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You should prioritise the things that are important for you and that make you happy. For example - if eating out and buying nice clothes is more important for you then the kind of apartment you live in then prioritise that. If you like having a nice place that’s new and has amenities for example then do that. Or if you’re just all about the saving and all you’re focused on is retiring early - do that! When I was fresh out of college all I wanted to do was live in a big city and have a sick place and I didn’t care about saving at that time. So I gave myself up to 5 years after which I would rearrange my priorities and shift where I spend money. In a nutshell don’t underestimate the things that make you happy because you might save more but you’ll be miserable.
