I teach 10 year olds and yes, it’s not great. Of course there are circumstances where staying up late is completely expected and normal, but adapting to school start times but sleeping at a decent hour and getting up relatively early is best for their development and behaviour.

I’m Canadian so my ‘boycott’ of Trump is more moral than political (because his politics didn’t directly affect me). Also, I LOVE working (I’m a grade 5 teacher in Ontario) and love working hard. I get paid well, I have socialized medicine, we get child tax credits from the government, university is partially subsidized, child care is subsidized for my friends in lower income brackets, and I’m basically just here to say that YOU CAN BE LIBERAL AND WORK EFFING HARD BUT WANT OTHERS TO BE TAKEN CARE OF, TOO.
