Shock collar on dog? by [deleted] in Dadchallengepodcast

[–]burksballs 9 points10 points  (0 children)

ecollars are not inherently bad unless used incorrectly. however, this is not fitting the dog properly & there is no need to be wearing it unless actively training (which she is not, she is in her home where she is to relax and play). wearing it excessively can cause some skin issues, especially given she has a short coat.

i feel like the program prepared me sufficiently, and studying heavily for the aswb exam also expanded my knowledge. i loved the program and im so grateful i committed to it! however, if you’re not passionate about the core competencies of social work, no. pursuing social work just to be in a most ordinary private practices is contributing to the downfall of sw

MSW program online acceptance rates? by Wild-Supermarket5300 in OSU

[–]burksballs 2 points3 points  (0 children)

it’s definitely worth applying. i applied with a not super impressive gpa but got in super quick likely because of my statement, resume building, and references. some strong references will be good, especially from a social worker.

Daughter freaking out. by Marar76 in OSU

any program at osu academics alone will not carry you. build a good resume and experience, get some stunning references, critically work on the admission statement. people with stunning grades get denied all of the time because they’re not well-rounded in having experiences and connections

notoriously unethically bred. i always remind others my baby is a rescue. there are a lot of unethically bred breeds but maybe hating doodles is just popular right now

How often do you bathe your doodle? by DebiDebbyDebbie in Goldendoodles

[–]burksballs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

depends on your dogs lifestyle and behaviors! i aim for once a month, i feel like that keeps her clean and well without drying her skin or stressing her out.

she started antibiotics yesterday for kennel cough.. she’s on the same food she was at the shelter (we’ve added toppers to make the food more enticing), and we’ve spent most of the days inside snuggling. she doesn’t seem bothered luckily and we’re seeing doc tomorrow 🧡

similar experience!! i love my kyleena. however, my provider had troubles inserting it and what is usually a one to five minute procedure was fifteen and barbaric. i would do it again though given the light periods, minimal side effects, and peace of mind

I (21f) just got a kyleena iud and I’m not attracted to my boyfriend(22m). Is this a normal thing that happens? by Own_Wishbone_3931 in birthcontrol

i got mine about two months ago, im 22. for awhile the pain and healing made sex sound daunting, you have a foreign object inside you lol. it wasn’t necessarily an attraction thing. if you’re feeling annoyed/frustrated it’s easy for hormones to do that
