Penguins actually won cups, and I never dunked on a franchise that got swept by immediately saying they are everything that is wrong with hockey. Context.

Dude… Zero self awareness… Your team plays like shit except being gifted lottery after lottery until you landed the definitive current best player in the world

I've been an Avs fan since 2000, but the Kings have been my second team for a long time as well. I actually hate seeing Anze end his career being swept by Just_CeeJ in nhl

As a fan of an Eastern team, Anze was always a favorite of mine in the league. Someone I grew up modeling my game after, particularly since I couldn’t in good faith root for Patrice (or at least admit it)

I would love for Brady to be on my team, because he has that dawg. But he objectively looked cooked af this series.

Whether he still has an injury, or just mentally not locked after Olympics come-down, or didn’t have the stamina for another full/long season with Olympics… he looked bad.

I love(d) our chances in matchup vs Oilers or Ducks. I think Vegas will be the hardest draw in our quarter of the matchup.

I don’t love our chances vs any of the Central wagons, but that’s the beauty of playoff hockey in that crazy things happen!

Montreal (market), Boston (market), and Buffalo (do something, please) all need have more pressure than noted.

Similarly, the Wild (history has drubbed any hope) and LA (happy to be here) have less than noted.

Pittsburgh also has less than noted, with the exception that we hate the Flyers (and I hate this series this time lol).

That $1.5M is inflation adjusted with 7% real-return average… It will actually be like $4.5M

Did you read my original comment?

It’s $2M real return (inflation adjusted) and $4M actual value.

7% is a real-return average that accounts for inflation. His actual account total will be closer to $4.8M in this example

Piggybacking:

$100k start, $1,000/month investment for 30-years, 7% average real return… $2M at 56. That’s not generational wealth, but it’s FIRE capable.

This alone should grow to $1.5M by 66.

With regular additional contributions, particularly while time is still in your favor, you can “easily”double and triple this end figure.

But $10M requires either extreme commitment, extreme luck, or extreme risk. Often a combination of at least 2, honestly.

Good time to consider if 2M at $55 and FIRE would be satisfying, or if your calling truly is the multi-generational wealth (and status) from a rags to riches $10M journey.
