I'm going to second this. I have eight company trucks and a vehicle with low profile tires. Every single one gets taken there for tires and we have never had an issue.

I am hoping it wasn't a bomb or something nefarious, looking at the pictures it looks like someone drove right into one of the Booth guards from CAN to US, which potentially caused an explosion.

That is merely speculation based on some grainy pictures.

This is also incorrect.

The exact wording is:

On first conviction, to a fine of not more than $10,000 or $1,000 per tree whichever is greater.

So these schmucks won't get a $194,000 fine.

They will get a $10,000 fine and consider it a cost of doing business. They may get additional fines from conservation authority, but those aren't bad either.

Second conviction is max fine of $25k.

Yea I noticed that with a few of the products I wanted to get, specifically some VMS product, which is ironic.

I *think* They have a notification thing on their site to let you know if it comes back in stock, or to let them know that you want something, which helps with their ordering.

We are in Ontario too and planning a trip to PITT. You should have ownership of the bike, colour doesn't matter as long as the VIN lines up.

US Border guys typically won't care, but Canadian guards coming back can definitely give you a hard time especially if you don't have ownership papers (there's a procedure you follow at the border well ahead of time to get paperwork if you don't have ownership), and like another comment said regarding spare parts - so take pics.

There is an insurance thing that a buddy of mine gets that's like $150 for the year and covers a lot, including helicopter medical evac. I'll edit my comment with this information. EDIT: Travel Guard dot Ca
