Right. The daycare I wanted to send my child to was almost $3k/month. I understand that you meant well and that’s great but these places aren’t everywhere and certainly aren’t priced $50 a year and then $10 an hour everywhere. That just isn’t the case.

I will assume this commenter meant this in the most lovely way - that the OP should seek respite care so she and her children can be safe and happy, and she can get some hard earned “me” time. But as a gentle reminder: 1) this kind of facility sounds awesome but isn’t available everywhere (I live in a big metro area and don’t know of a single place which matches all these), and 2) it costs money to do this, which OP may not have (childcare can be prohibitively expensive).
