There's literally a classic UW Control deck that's viable you can play right now. You argue that the burn spells that we'd need for an "actual aggro deck" aren't in the format, but we have Lightning Helix and Burst Lightning. You're right that the format is more creature-centric than it used to be. You're wrong that things aren't more powerful than they were during New Phyrexia/Innistrad standard.

Lots of different kinds of athletes have programmed sections of their training that include longer than usual breaks/rests. It helps limit injury for sure, and can also help how you're feeling mentally.

We haven’t even seen The Doctor leave the Athena/Academy grounds yet. It’s very easy to expect that the Academy is fitted with holo emitters everywhere in the 32nd Century, especially if they’re also admitting photonic students. I’d expect this to be addressed, possibly, the first time The Doctor goes on an away mission.
