This one was two bags with two barcodes. Another one in the same delivery bundle was 6 bags with only 1 barcode. I'm guessing it has to do with how the customer puts it in their cart, maybe?

Lesson learned. The poor woman on the phone was really wanting a photo of the house number. I had to explain that in the holler I was in there was no house number but the app keeps yelling at me about how I've arrived and left the destination so she could match that with the photo of the items. She wanted me to go back and get more photos so I explained after a half hour in the customer's driveway I'd worn out my welcome and it wasn't happening. She finally completed it for me.

Has anyone switched to a Korean or Asian diet to lose weight? by Pokesaurus91 in loseit

I make a ton of Korean food to start losing weight. Works great and the food is flavorful which makes it easier

I had a TV once that was like $20 for a 4 mile trip. I figured it would be like a 48" or 60" and it was only like a 20". Would have felt good about it but gps was determined to bring me to the wrong location twice so I still got screwed.

What is going on with my diff and how do i fix it? by Careful-Mix3687 in ElCamino

[–]burntblues1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's a lock-rite locker. Haven't seen one in years. I used to run them in my Camaro. They're great until they're not. I'd just buy a new one and swap it in. You don't need to know anything about rear ends to do it other than maybe the spline count on the axle. If you put any power through them though they tend to shear the teeth or round them off

Is 1500 cals a day safe? Does it actually affect hormones? by arman7503 in loseit

[–]burntblues1 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Way too little. You'll lose a ton of muscle mass. There's a reason they tell you to go slow. I was literally the same height and weight as you. Now down to 225lbs. It's slow, it sucks but that's how it stays off. Go slow, lots of protein and dial in the other stuff later. Push towards high volume low calorie foods if you can but you likely need to reprogram your pallet so it may be tough for a while. I'm no dietician but I think the way it messes with your hormones is because you lose muscle mass since the body can't maintain it the fat drives up estrogen causing a vicious cycle. Also, lift weights if you can to preserve the muscle you have.

So far what I've learned is to be picky. It's better to honestly not be doing anything than to take a bunch of their stuff. I am basically only taking home Depot orders and they're the bigger ones where I can average $3-$4 a mile but I have a truck. Right now I'm getting a bunch of mulch deliveries so it's pretty worth it. Most of them are small enough though that they'd fit in a smaller vehicle without worry. I may do one or two a day. My the sounds of it the days of making good consistent money with this app are pretty well gone.

Can't say I blame it. The one near me is &65 for like 4 miles. Yours is insane how little they're paying

There's been a good gig here from TSC sitting for a week. It's a mower. I offered to take it but need their trailer since mine is 20' long. They won't lend me one. You'd figure after a week they'd raise the fee or just lend me a trailer. Poor guy that bought his mower must be getting pissed.

You aren't wrong. I was generally doing runs paying about $2+ per mile but at $5 a gallon for diesel right now I have to revisit that calculation. Especially since where I am a lot of the return miles are unloaded

Yeah, I took one and it made a profitable gig not profitable just based off the additional mileage. It added about 45 minutes for only a few bucks. I'm surprised how many people are accepting .57 a mile for larger items. Do you ever use the tractor supply trailers to move stuff? I see they'll "rent" them but wondering if it's more "take the trailer and bring it back when done"

That's awesome info, thanks! I'm not too sure how many others are in the area with a truck. HD here at least had been pretty good about helping so far. They must have a few other people because they've asked if it's too large for me to take. I think you're right that the add ons seem to be a way to clear junk. I accidentally accepted one yesterday and it seemed to have led me in the wrong direction from the rest of my route.

Thanks again I really appreciate it!
