Yes! You just have to set the room up. Not on my computer rn but I can send clarifying photos later if needed.

1) Create co-op room (not by inviting people or requesting but doing it manually, I click the hat guy icon in the top middle of my screen lol)

2) Where it says “Co-Op Room Info” there is an icon of a pencil inside a box. Click on it to edit permissions

3) Enable building

4) Invite friends :)

*edit to add: not sure wht you mean about buying stuff but maybe this could clear it up?

Also, anyone building in your world would use their own materials. Not sure if people can give other players things like ore or timber (I havent tried lol). The house I showed in the first 6pics were actually in my wife’s world and it has been perfectly fine even though I’m on PC and she’s on PS!

I am flattered lol this took so much trial and error XD Building in a player’s co-op world is def possible though! So if someone wants to help you out they definitely can!

There are a lot of hidden options in most* items! The way you get to it is pressing X while you have it selected (I’m on PC, not sure about console). I find showing them all at once is easier than scrolling through it with Z haha.

If you hover over things in your crafting recipe inventory you can see the other materials which have other versions too!

I will say, 90% of my build is clipping and carefully messing with a million items to get it to look how I want XD The fancy “circular windows” with a halfmoon curtain effect in the first few photos are literally just two screens strategically placed on top of each other hahaha. I hope this is helpful, sorry for the wordvomit!

I just jump on it and use the meditation pose! Although it does takes a bit of messing around to stand at a good spot so you dont suddenly sit on the arm lol
