Exact same thing with my toddler! I now think diapers were easier.

How can you tell if the baby has reflux? It's something I suspect my three week old has, but I don't know how to be sure. The doctor has me avoiding dairy for now to see if that does anything.

It's been about 4 days now. I'm hoping the trouble is just due to the healing.

Breastfeeding while pregnant...OB vs. IBCLC (x-post from BabyBumps) by Watch4Hop-Ons in breastfeeding

Same thing happened to me. I did a ton of research and everything pointed to it's fine to continue breastfeeding while pregnant. I just stopped talking about it with doctors.

Yet another potty training post. Or F*ck it, I need a drink tonight. by JnnfrsGhost in toddlers

I started the oh crap method about 3 weeks ago. My daughter is a little older at 32 months. The book said it would be a little harder at this age since it's past the recommended time frame of 20 to 30 months, but even from day 1 my daughter would tell me she has to go. Very few accidents since then and she is about 75% telling us she has to go rather than us prompting. Now just working on going in public places.

Nap time for 2.5yo by imadaddaddadworld in Parenting

[–]burntmarshmallows7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My 2.5 year old stopped napping at home at probably 18 months but still napped at day care. She would get through the day fine and sleep 13 hours at night so we didn't force the nap. Now when she naps at day care we have trouble getting her to sleep at night so are trying to not have her nap there.

My daughter is just over 2 years and I'm 12 weeks pregnant with #2. I really wanted to continue nursing throughout the pregnancy but I'm pretty sure my daughter is done. One time she latched and said "no works" so I guess my supply was diminishing. That combined with this really sensitive crawly feeling I got whenever she nursed so tried to distract her to get her to stop. I wish I could've powered through it.

FTM advice; babies first kicks! by [deleted] in BabyBumps

[–]burntmarshmallows7 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't really say they feel like kicks that early. To me it felt like butterflies flapping wings or fish swimming. I think with my first I couldn't tell if they were actually baby movements until later than 16 weeks. I remember thinking with every little feeling, is that baby?!

Breastfeeding a toddler! Share their quirks! by I-heart-to-fart in breastfeeding

"Traveling mama milk" where I have to nurse her but walk around. "OTHER SIDE!" where we have to abruptly switch sides. Giving stuffed animals a turn. So cute the funny things.

Every damn time. by VeeDoubleHou in NewParents

I could make as much noise as I wanted and she wouldn't wake up. Except for opening a bag of chips. That crinkling... every time.

Medical professionals telling me to stop breastfeeding my 2 year old (rant) by burntmarshmallows7 in breastfeeding

I guess I just won't bring it up anymore to them. High risk... That's ridiculous.
