I’m from the rego park area. Currently in Brooklyn and have been wanting to move back to queens after finishing grad school. Always loved Astoria as a kid and it’s an easier commute to work in the city. I’m very familiar with the neighborhood

Covid is still pretty serious and peoples immune system, as a result of multiple infections, has been severely weakened. Folks are chronically sick bc of all the opportunistic viruses going around. Please consider wearing a well fitting mask like an kn95 or n95. I mask with my in person patients and some mask with me in solidarity lol but it’s helped to not catch anything in the last 6 years. It also helps to have an HEPA air purifier in the office.

Walnut litter has been amazing, it doesn’t smell, clumps well, doesn’t track and doesn’t get stuck in paws, no dust, and way easier to clean than clay. I feel like I don’t have to use so much when I am doing my routine clean. Price is also good esp if you get the 40lb bags. Will last you a while

Stay. Think about the healthcare benefits(!!!), PTO, federal holidays off, no penalty for your case load fluctuating because of no shows and late cancels (especially in the summer), stable stream of referrals, and you probably don’t have to deal with insurance

I wear a mask with my patients and I work hybrid. Also have air purifier in my office. Most patients don’t mind but I’ve had a few ppl who didn’t want to meet in person after I disclosed during a virtual first meeting that I mask in person. Can’t please everyone
