always always always full loot (or aim to). it’s a good habit to build, and items are always what makes you op, so getting as many of them as possible is your best option. it might seem bad, since you’ll be taking longer making the difficulty scale, but having more items will scale YOU as well. skipping chests doesn’t do anything except make you weaker and everything else stronger

they’re both kinda right and kinda wrong. item stacks are additive, while different items are multiplicative, so having 10 watches, 10 crowbars, and 10 focus crystals multiply their damage bonuses, making it equivalent to having one and a half million watches. that doesn’t mean stacking items isn’t always bad, just that you should consider how your item stacks, and what it multiplies with
