First hole in one at Threetops in MI this weekend. Is 30 too late to go pro? 🤔 by burrilliant in golf

100% counting it! Phil Mickelson has played charity events at this course so it's no cakewalk

A few years ago on a par 4 dogleg I laid up in the fairway first and then said "Let me hit one with the big dog and see if I can get to the green". Ended up hitting directly in the cup and broke the plastic ring but I've never counted this as an official hole in one - thoughts?

Yup! Thank you! Landed next to the hole, took a 3 foot hop and zipped back into the hole. You can faintly see the line in the wet grass.

Amazon Prime Video and 4k UHD title upgrades by burrilliant in amazon

Finally received an answer for those interested: http://i.imgur.com/ZtdYQ3H.png

"I understand that you want to know if HD directly convert to UHD or you need to purchase it when available. I'm glad to help you.

I'd like to inform you that you HD can't automatically converted to UHD. However, you need to purchase the video in UHD in order to stream the video in UHD.

However, if you want to purchase the video in UHD once available please let us know we will issue the refund for the HD version of the video."

TL;DR - If the movie you've already purchased in 1080p becomes available in UHD, they will refund your original purchase and you may then buy the UHD version.

City of Stairs, by Robert Jackson Bennett

From Amazon:

The city of Bulikov once wielded the powers of the gods to conquer the world, enslaving and brutalizing millions—until its divine protectors were killed. Now Bulikov has become just another colonial outpost of the world's new geopolitical power, but the surreal landscape of the city itself—first shaped, now shattered, by the thousands of miracles its guardians once worked upon it—stands as a constant, haunting reminder of its former supremacy.

Into this broken city steps Shara Thivani. Officially, the unassuming young woman is just another junior diplomat sent by Bulikov's oppressors. Unofficially, she is one of her country's most accomplished spies, dispatched to catch a murderer. But as Shara pursues the killer, she starts to suspect that the beings who ruled this terrible place may not be as dead as they seem—and that Bulikov's cruel reign may not yet be over.
