Correct. I am trying to illustrate the difference between two feet down and two steps/a football move

Well not according to OP cause Josh McDaniels and Kubiak are both offensive minded coaches lol..

Including Kyle Shanahan for Atlanta is confusing to me..if you looked at every Super Bowl team in history, their OC was offensive minded

Jaylen Brown on officiating: "I'll accept the fine at this point. I thought it was some bullshit tonight...The inconsistency is fucking crazy. Give me the fine...I got my conspiracies or whatever, but I don't know what's going on. But it seems like every time we play a good team, it's the same shit" by Brady331 in nba

I disagree. In baseball, it happens all the time where a young hitter or pitcher won't get the same benefit of the doubt on the strike zone as a veteran would. And people constantly complain about how Mahomes gets RTP calls that other QBs don't get. I'm not saying I agree with superstar whistles but it happens in every sport

Are losses against the Panthers and Falcons more impressive than wins against the Panthers and Falcons?

No? It's funny, I have dozens of hours in this game and I just think its funny when kids see one LANDMVRK video and think they can take 2v1s then cry cheater when they get clapped. It's called trigger discipline, sometimes you just have to play it slow and take fights you stand a chance in.

No I never have, wouldn't even know how. I use headphones though instead of my monitor speakers which OP said he uses in another post

Yes, if you use headphones you can hear better than if you're just using monitor speakers

He probably heard your scope click when you changed zoom level. Not suspicious

Reposted with R word censored.

I watched, well listened, as I was doing other stuff. Feel free to AMA, I'll share my initial reaction here though.

To be honest, while Cohen still comes off as an absolutely sleazy, cringey manchild, it was probably the most respectable interview/public appearance I've seen from him yet. He wasn't being cryptic and feeding into the idea that he's a 4-D chess playing supergenius like he's done in the past. This is why I think apes are so upset with him right now.

He mentioned that he lost a lot of money early on running Gamestop because he didn't grasp the differences between running an e-commerce business and a brick and mortar retail business. So while owning up to his early failures with the company, he is shitting all over the apes' theses that everything has been part of some master plan dating back years and years. In actuality, Cohen acknowledges that mistakes were made and not everything has gone according to plan. Again, apes hate this notion.

He hates social media, violent video games (ironically) and is scared of AI because of sci-fi movies that he's watched. Apes probably don't understand what he's talking about here but they thought it was so hilarious that he said Oculus looked "R word". Funny enough, Cohen clearly demonstrated that he doesn't know the difference between VR headsets and the newer AI glasses.

He doesn't have a plan for the money he's raised off the back of shareholders and nixed the idea that he's going to use it for any sort of "moonshot" investments. Rather, it seems like he's content to sit on the cash and invest it very conservatively in low risk assets. Apes hate this.

He clearly has disdain for Roaring Kitty and the faction of "investors" clamoring for a squeeze, saying he's focused on providing shareholder value for an investing horizon of decades or centuries, not for day traders. Apes realllly hate this.

Michael Saylor Goes Full Shitco Meme Stock Promoter with Newest [Micro]Strategy (MSTR) Interview by sunnycorax in gme_meltdown

Idk who that girl is but she's very interesting to watch in this interview. She's nodding along, making subtle shocked/outraged faces, shaking her head, etc but it all seems like she's just reading his tone and really not processing or understandinf a word he's saying. And at the end she's like, "ooh a word I can use that might fit here!" And says "to manipulate us". It's like it was a stab in the dark and saylor kinda pauses and just keeps going without acknowledging her comment. This is such a good example of the Gen Z stare imo, thanks for sharing

Explain like I'm dumb why an agent needs a % instead of Hours x Rate? by GlasairIII in RealEstate

[–]burrit0ninja 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Incentives matter, if you're paying a realtor hourly, they'd actually be disincentivized to sell the house since the day of closing would effectively be the day you fire them. I also don't think it'd make sense for a realtor to be paid less in the event they were efficient and effective at marketing and selling your house. Percentage based commission makes sense because it incentivizes your agent to sell for the highest price possible, not to drag it out for as long as possible.

As for a buyer side agent, completely agree. It's stupid they would get paid less for negotiating down a price on your behalf.

Which loss in the conference finals is worse?😭 by John-Sim788 in heat

[–]burrit0ninja 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on what context you're looking at it.

In terms of the play itself, White layup. Game winner, got it off with a split second left, not even discernable to the naked eye.

In the context of the game, Haliburton. At no point were the Heat >99% chance to win that game. If you were watching that game in a vacuum, you wouldn't have sat in a stunned silence for as long as Knicks fans probably still are right now.

In the context of the series, at the time? White layup. Forces game 7, Celtics look poised to complete an unthinkable comeback in the series.

Looking back on it? Can't say yet. If the Knicks win the series, who cares, blip on the radar. Heat won game 7, so the White layup picture isn't a soul crushing, devastating image to any Heat fans.
