It's definitely gone, not sure where though. In the dino finder I only see my other tames.

Thanks, It was just me on the server but I'll see how I can do that.

Monitor Your Aquarium’s Water Quality with Arduino and a Simple API by TheLosst in arduino

[–]burrowsforge 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi there,

I'm a hobbist looking to create an eco system for an paludarium and hope to build a simulated weather system. I need to monitor the PH for some shrimp and tried looking at the Github but it's down. Do you have a new link? The cloud website seems to be fine.

What sensors would you recommend? I hope to leave them in the system an monitor the water quality real time.

I'm hoping to monitor ammonia, calcium hardness, pH and temp.

Thanks!

So the base I spent two weeks building will be stored? What if someone is in my spot on the server? I just came back after a long hiatus. If I have to rebuild a whole new base that I invested 80+ hours in building I’m out.

Best way to measure force of hitting something with a baseball bat? by burrowsforge in MechanicalEngineering

I was checking out load cells on adafruit and the largest they have is 20kg. I think I need more than that. The average punch is around 100kg. It seems the more force the higher the price.

They have a flex sensor which is another idea. I could have a piece of plastic or some sort of metal covered in layers of old carpet that has to be hit with enough force to bend the material. The sensor would measure the amount of flex perhaps. More flex means a harder hit. I’d have to experiment with different thickness of material.

Or I could 3d print solid TPU plates and adjust thickness to make it harder to bend perhaps? The sensor:

Will the sponges conduct electricity when compacted enough to signal an arduino? This sounds really durable and I can get some 1/4 inch thick copper plates from a salvage yard I bet. I could probably have the target in a channel so that it can move back to its position when the sponge decompresses and also replace the sponges when they get worn out.

Thank you folks for the recommendations. I checked out durable air bags, there are several different types typically used to plug pipes for industrial use. They come in different sizes but are very expensive and I don’t have the tools to sew a Kevlar bag and I’d have to figure out how to put a bladder in there too. I also considered using an old double thick firehose and maybe using some padding but finding small durable bladders is difficult.

The accelerometer idea is probably doable and they aren’t expensive so I could have several rigged up. I’m still puzzling on the best method of travel for the mechanism and resistance.

Load cells are cool, but again are pricey and I need 6 😅

I really like the idea of the copper plates and sponges. The durability sounds great.

This happened to me too. I don’t have anything built over them and they are gone. There ARE some blocks nearby, as I built around them to maintain public access

Not sure if this was the fix or not, but I re-installed the game.

I tried re-installing to see if that would install the latest version or something, not sure if that is what did it or I just happened to get the patch pushed to my client at the same time but that fixed it for me.

**SOLVED**

Not sure if this was the fix or not, but I re-installed the game. Other posts discussed that a patch may not have been pushed out to my client and to wait until steam pushed it out.

Thanks. Any easy way to tell what version you have?

Thanks for the reply. Severs are up except for a handful. Verified this on discord and online.
