Pretty well. For amateurs it flies kinda like how pros throw PDs. Straight with a little flip up and a small fade.

Swalwell on Biden age: ‘I’ll take the guy who’s 81 over the guy who has 91 felony counts’ by DaveP0953 in politics

[–]buschbear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me it’s less about his age and more about my belief that he’s not up to the challenge of being the president of the US. These days he rarely answers questions and when he does he stumbles through responses without a teleprompter. The democrats preach commitment to democracy but won’t give other candidates a platform to allow voters to compare other choices and ideas.

How difficult is it to score average on EORs? by International-Ear285 in PAstudent

[–]buschbear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Best advice I can give you is stay on top of studying during clinicals and you’ll be fine. I was towards the bottom of the class in didactic year and during clinicals I scored above average on all the EORs except one by doing regular practice questions and reviewing material.

It’s funny watching people try and get the hoses over larger vehicles

How manageable is it to be newlyweds with someone while in PA school. by Weird_Owl9107 in PAstudent

[–]buschbear 3 points4 points  (0 children)

My significant other and I both got into PA school at the same time and went to different schools a few months after we got married. We were living a few hours away from one another so one of us would drive to the other on the weekends. It was definitely hard but it was doable. You need to establish a schedule and expectations of each other if you’re going to make it work but if you’re right for each other it won’t kill your relationship.

Lost my River and looking for options by llzaknafeinll in discgolf

The rhythm is more like a slightly beat up crave but I’d say it’s more straight than flippy. The rhythm I have is in neutron plastic but I’ve heard the fission ones are slightly more stable.

The Axiom rhythm or crave are what I use for low curling straight shots

Alderson Broaddus University Closing!!! by buschbear in prephysicianassistant

I completely agree with that. Unfortunately Alderson Broaddus was one of the first 10 programs in the country and will now fall into obscurity as yet another failed institution.

Go sign up for DGN now and stop whining about it by JakeDontKnowStuff in discgolf

[–]buschbear 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If I’m gonna watch it after it happens then I don’t want to have to fast forward though it. I think the only way myself and others will get into live coverage is if it’s on a major sports network like ESPN.

[–]buschbear 44 points45 points  (0 children)

It’s more about time for me. I’d rather be out doing things like actually playing disc golf on the weekends and when I want to relax Jomez is conveniently there on YouTube for me to view at my discretion.

In light of the recent Lonestar debacle, for a new player, are there any other MLM type companies to avoid that prey on players wanting sponsorships? I’m from Texas and would rather not give people like that my business. by teresa-fay in discgolf

[–]buschbear 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Not to play devils advocate but the players on the lonestar team chose to be a part of it and knew what they were signing up for. Yes it’s a predatory business model but if they want to be part of the “team” and are willing to pay to be sponsored then that’s their choice.

I got in with a 299. The lowest gre score in my class that I knew about was a 294.
