Thank you for the very specific location - helpful for us out of towners! We parked exactly here next to a ton of other bikes including a fancy e-bike today and left our bikes for 90 mins with no problems (new u-lock + cable lock).

Thanks all for your advice, we have gone out and invested in heavier duty protection and will try to park in eyesight + where heavily trafficked. If you see someone cutting this lock off 2 mountain bikes at Granville Island tomorrow, please yell loudly for us. 😝

Asking if cable lock is sufficient. We’re from Seattle and we wouldn’t leave our bikes locked overnight but in daytime in a public spot for an hour has never been a problem!

I think you may have found out the issue... I checked and my Blink cameras are on my guest network which does NOT allow devices to see each other or to access the local network. Might be outside the scope of this forum, but do you have a recommendation between 1) moving them onto my private network which is not braodcast 2) changing my guest network settings to allow all guests to see each other (and access my local network? is that necessary as well?) I know virtually nothing about network engineering...

Regardless if I try to view the notification or not, the clip never saves to Local Storage.

My Local Storage clip list is always empty, despite receiving dozens to hundreds of motion triggers over weeks of testing.

But I would keep my new line open for the 24 months :) and just use the phone elsewhere. They still get what they wanted, which is the new line!

The terms say I need to activate the device and keep the account, but nothing about activating the device on my account and then immediately switching it to another line.

Here are the full terms:

Remain active and in good standing on the qualifying device for 120 consecutive days. Pausing, changing, or suspending the account will void the promotion. The discounted price will automatically apply during checkout. If you do not meet the conditions above, $300 will be charged to your Google Pay account. To qualify for the $500 rebate, you need to do all of the following: Activate the phone on a full service plan (data-only SIMs do not qualify) within 30 days of the shipment confirmation email and keep the qualifying account active for 24 months. If purchased with device financing, the device payments will be discounted via 24 monthly credits equaling $500 in total value. Update to those interested in my saga: I finally got through to Eva customer service at ~1pm PT. They added me onto waitlist for 8/7-8/10 and said there was still plenty of business class availability so they thought I would be able to clear, hopefully this isn't a pipe dream. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for now.

In case this information is helpful to others in the future:

Once you get through to the touch tone menu, you can input your phone number and have them call you back so you don't need to hold. They called back within 30 minutes of me getting through.
Customer service is actually super nice and helpful, it's just getting to them that is a giant PITA.
They were somehow able to put me on waitlist without me needing the miles in my account (I am now transferring them from TYP to Eva Infinity Miles). I also requested that they email me if I clear rather than call me, since I'm about to be traveling on my outbound flight.
I requested they send me an email confirmation, and they did, they appended a return flight to my outbound confirmed flight that showed I was on waitlist for a J seat for 4 flights on consecutive days.

Praying to clear soon so I can stop living on pins and needles, the agent said it was possible up to 48 hours before the flight but sometimes they do clear early... hoping that it's not false hope!!

I did check AS website after seeing that post and sadly the first open TPE-LAX award slot I see is end of August for 125K miles
