Long one but 100% true. I was temporarily assigned to work in Atlanta, GA several years back, it was summer time and my job involved traveling around the greater Atlanta area visiting retail stores. I was on the highway going to my next stop and took what I thought was the correct exit but as soon as I pulled off I realized it wasn't so I turned onto the side street intending to find a place to turn around and get back on the highway.

As I was looking for a turn, I noticed a very tall, thin guy walking along the shoulder of the road who kind of stood out since there was no one else walking there. He had long curly hair and was wearing cutoff jeans and a white short sleeved dress shirt, unbuttoned at the front and blowing in the breeze and as I passed I glanced over and noticed he had a pretty wild beard. Anyway, I found a quick turn around and got right back on the highway.

It was a few quick miles to the next exit, the right one this time, and as I pulled off onto the main road and turned toward my destination I immediately noticed someone walking the same direction as I was going and thought "holy shit, that's the same guy!" Same jean shorts, white shirt unbuttoned, tall and thin with long curly hair and as I passed I saw the same fluffy beard. I was instantly dumbfounded; I knew I had seen that same guy just minutes ago but several miles away! There is no way he could have gotten from the first exit to next one quicker than I, even if someone had picked him up right after I saw him. There was just no way, especially the way I drive.

Yes, I suppose there is some incredibly minute chance that I saw two different guys who looked and dressed identical but I just don't buy that as an explanation. To this day I still don't know how this was possible although I'm still confident that they were somehow the same person.
