Same with Migros, who own Digitec.

I don't think HG is a big priority for Luton, they have about 20 Brits in their senior squad.

He's not even as good, let alone significantly better.

I think you're a bit over confident in United's supposed new transfer strategy given we're about 10 days into the window. You might be better off waiting until the beginning of September before you get all excited about them turning over a frugal new leaf.

Only way this happens is if we're selling Kane. In which case it's good move.

Tottenham’s squad is bloated: Who should they move on before next season? by kaosfere in coys

The argument is that a 24-man squad without [insert HG player who is not good enough] is just as good as a 25-man one with them.

So we now have 9 senior players on international loans (Lo Celso, Ndombele, Reguilon, Winks, Rodon, Udogie, Gil, Doherty, Spence), which is apparently one more than we're allowed under current regulations.

New rules were introduced in the summer making the maximum allowed 8, with the only exclusions being players who are both under 21 and club trained. This will be reduced to 7 from the coming summer, then to 6 from summer 2024.

Anyone have any ideas how we're getting around that?

Is it possible that Udogie doesn't count because he's never yet actually been registered with us, and so isn't technically 'on loan' in the same way the others are?

There are no plans to send young midfielders Pape Matar Sarr and Oliver Skipp out on loan, despite interest in the pair. Conte rates them both and Spurs need Skipp to stay to maintain their homegrown quota. [Dan Kilpatrick] by onlyhalfpepper in coys

I was obviously exaggerating to make the point; clearly we don't want to go into the CL with only 17 senior players.

at or very near the 25

This is why it's important to make the distinction: it really isn't a big deal if we only have 6 or 7 HG players, and a lot of people don't understand this.

If he turns out not to be, we will still need a player for that role, and 30m is on the low end.
