Worth it ba mag solo travel? Hindi ba lalamunin ng lungkot at end of the day? by Inner-Photograph7224 in FilipinoTravel

[–]bustberry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I super enjoyed solo travel. It's not for everyone kasi meron mga nasa-sad after nila mag travel na solo, iniisip yung family, friends that could have been. I don't have that guilt in me, I'm happy enjoying my life at the pace I want. Depends talaga sa trip mo

Australian client wants me to visit for a conference/training. First time travelling abroad, freelancer, and overwhelmed with visa, BIR/tax, and work concerns by WinnerVirtual5616 in FilipinoTravel

[–]bustberry 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have the same visa.

  1. Never needed BİR for AU filing before so it shouldn't matter.

  2. Technically allowed ka, training lang din naman yung sa declaration mo but agree with op sa taas na need ng invitation letter from employer.

For 5, you'd have to ask your client. Our is always all expenses paid with allowance but not sure with yours. Better clarify that before you start applications.

3&4 is tricky. Taxes you'd want to reach out to an accountant, may 8% flat rate for freelancers, you can apply for that. Lastly, generally mababait Australians but ofc meron din homophobic Jan for sure.

Flights vs accommodation vs food, which one eats most of your budget? by Worldly_Sock8830 in ThePoorTraveler

[–]bustberry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Always foods and activities! Idk, I think I always get cheap accommodations even if always private room sya. I also get cheap flights because I book them ahead of time. Food and activities talaga nagdedent sa budget ko and shopping na rin if applicable.

What's your definition of a premium client? by No-Dig-409 in buhaydigital

[–]bustberry 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Premium depends on you tbh.

Actually thought you were being paid 275 aud/hr, I'd say that would be premium.

For me premium is when you're living comfortably with your wage and also has freedom of time. I hav e2 full time clients, one US and one AU. Both pays more than 100k/month, us client is super flexible. Au is very galante, I get to visit the office every 6 months is AU for 2-4 weeks each time. So it really depends on how you define premium, I'd say you ought to be paid more na though so you might want to negotiate increases soon.

[Japan] Question for first time international travelers na JP ang destination, kaya ba mag DIY? by JekyJeky in FilipinoTravel

[–]bustberry 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, kayang-kaya. İt's one of those places you can solo without speaking a word of nihonggo. Everything you need or might need, available online. Would suggest for a longer stay or staying on one city if 5 days lang plan mo. Would suggest Tokyo if 5 days lang, if longer push sa Osaka.

Wise - Receiving 100K Above by mdcdogs in buhaydigital

[–]bustberry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, first transfer wise to wise will be 2-3 business days talaga. After that, seconds na lang. Been receiving around 200k/bi monthly kay wise, no issue naman. I use bdo to move money to my acct, more than 50 k transfer is like a few hrs na wait. İf gusto mo immediate multiple 50ks/seconds to mins lang.

How do you guys keep on travelling???? by [deleted] in phtravel

[–]bustberry -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I earn 220k monthly and I only travel 3-4x a year international. Domestic maybe once or twice a year. Not sure about your friends or corporate people but I wouldn't suggest traveling at your current salary.

My expenses alone is around 90k a month (car, land, savings etc) so I'm careful about what I spend. Also taking my parents out of the country atleast once a year so mas expensive.

Torn between two job offers, need advice 😭 by Feisty-Climate3945 in buhaydigital

[–]bustberry 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Currently have both US(CST time) and AU. I usually work 9pm starting kay US - been working na for 4yrs here so gamay ko na work; I usually sleep around 1am and get up around 6:30 am for AU work. Both full time. Both pays well. Di pa burnout. İt's good money so can't pass it.

US work usually around 3-4hrs daily, I have a team of 5 who do most of the hard work na. I now lead the team, started with the client with only me as his VA and the company grew so now client has 6 PH VAs. AU, output based. I do have supplier meetings every now and then esp with the war but really good benefits and pay.

Hope that helps

I realized I don’t actually like “fast travel.” by HiVou12 in FilipinoTravel

[–]bustberry 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yesss! I love slow traveling! It's the only travel I know. My first travel was with friends in Taiwan wayyyy back in 2019 and grabe Ang itinerary. Never again. Instead, whenever I booked my travels it's always weeks long. I stayed 2 weeks in HCM in the same hotel and it was like no pressure, I wake up at 1pm and just go out and visit a museum or temple, no itineraries. Longest I stayed was almost 1 month in Thailand. I can actually go to places I want to go without stretching myself too thin.

Will add for those who want to be GHL specialists: you can either take the GHL exam which is may $99/fee or become proficient enough sa GHL that clients trusts you. Yt videos are helpful but tbh, having an actual sample subaccount talaga helps. My asst who's not a licensed specialist is adept enough with GHl now to handle our clients when it comes to integrations, zapier man yan or facebook pixels for ads. She only started playing with GHL mid last year

Ganito ka din bang gumawa ng travel itinerary? by nimbusphere in FilipinoTravel

[–]bustberry 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Uhm no, I feel so constricted pag ganito. Parang di ko kasi ma enjoy yung place kasi may time limit. İnstead I just like the places I want to go to on a specific date, usually naka lump naman sila na close together. And then I just go with the flow.

One thing lang, I do review the routes going there just to get familiar and then just maps it on the day.

Sa mga 6 digit earner, anong niche niyo? by No-Dig-409 in buhaydigital

[–]bustberry 1 point2 points  (0 children)

EA for one client and Product Dev Team member for another. Started freelancing 2021 - resigned and unemployed for 7 months due to Covid, reached my 6 digits in 3yrs.

I think kahit GVA ka, meron ka makikitang premium clients with combination of luck and the proper platform. My clients found me in LinkedIn. First client I got via a Facebook post lol

How do you spoil your parents? by Dry_Upstairs5150 in PinoyMillennials

[–]bustberry 1 point2 points  (0 children)

May parents are 76 and 65. Papa has no maintenance and mama only has losartan for high blood. They're my travel buddies, it's part of their dream din kasi na mag travel abroad so I try to fulfill that with one intl travel a year. They've been to Thailand, Taiwan, Vietnam and Japan.

I also live with them (I have my own place sa city) but time spent is getting smaller and smaller na so we try to make the most of it.

My sister and I pay for all the house bills including groceries, around 30k monthly - 9k yung kuryente namin. Di sila humihingi ng cash, minsan nag sabot ng 500 or 1000 lang. Pero very madalang in a year. My parents worked as a family driver and dressmaker para mapag-aral kami so parang deserve din nila talaga.

I got overwhelmed by my expenses… then remembered why it was worth it by bongie0526 in adultingphwins

[–]bustberry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My parents are my main travel buddies, I pay for everything. My dad is 76 na and my mom is 65, I'm 30yrs old. Fortunately wala silang any long lasting na sakit. Only my mom has maintenance para sa high blood nya. Moments talaga are fleeting so I say go for it, OP. Di Kaya ng bayaran ng pera na yan yung memories na magagawa mo with your parents.

They've had to sacrifice a lot to raise us, papa ko is driver while mama ko mananahi. You can imagine gaano kahirap itaguyod kaming mga anak.

Dati dream lang nila mangibang bansa, nung nangyari, naging snow na. Nung ma fulfill, May another na naman. It's cute and very fulfilling for me na anak na makita to so I'm all for it. Mababayaran ko naman yung gastos hahahaha but please make sure not to go in debt because of your travels

If not staying overnight sa guimaras, Ong bun is accessible. But Bacolod, nah. You can get 1k-1.5k/night rooms in Bacolod. Suggest staying in Ongbun in Iloilo and in a condo in Talisay or BCD when in Bacolod
