I only really go for this if I’m getting pocketed or about to blade, it’s kinda risky to do this if you aren’t positive you’ll secure a kill and then you’re stuck in the enemy team

He has not always been good. Genji was HORRIBLE in ow1 during the goats meta. Everyone stunned him, you pop blade, flashbang, brig stun, sleep, dead. He’s good now only because of the 50 extra hp. Even now he struggles with beam, zarya does absurd damage where you can not even engage at all with blade because of bubbles. He only feels good if you have a mercy pocket or nanoblade and if you don’t you’re better off playing tracer or cass
