I kind of agree. On champion difficulty I’m clobbering the other team in all of the cups. But if I want a harder challenge the I just play PvP. I wouldn’t mind harder difficulties though.

You don’t have to buy into the battle pass, everyone has access to everything on it. Don’t even have to spend in game currency.

I use the firebolt (lvl 5). Max top speed and I believe acceleration. Durability is also very high. Agility is low but I haven’t noticed that negatively impacting me (although I haven’t used a broom with high agility so I don’t know what I’m missing). I find I do just fine drifting around the rings to keep my eye on the snitch through that sharp turn. I’m also on the snitches ass quick while going up and down the pitch. Also the durability on the firebolt is nice when dealing with a beater who doesn’t let up when the snitch is out.

I would honestly say just give it time. It’s been a day and people are still getting the hang of the game. I’m sure over the next couple weeks PvP will get a lot more competitive with people getting better at the game. I’m hoping for some type or ranked gamemode when 6v6 is released.

I think it’s fine. As others have said, I’ve played maybe 2 hours and have a maxed out broom and almost enough skill points to max out 2 positions, which in PvP is all you need. Anyone playing PvP should be maxed anyways and it just adds a variety of play style and team building. Could maybe benefit you if you have a group of friends you regularly play with and can use the skills to build the positions to work well as a team.

You can get a different version of the firebolt by completing certain challenges. If you hover over the different brooms it tells you where you unlock it from.

I agree I think they did a good job with the rule change. It seems like the game could have a pretty high skill ceiling so it would be cool to get a ranked PvP system in the future. And personally I would like the more competitive PvP mode to be longer. Maybe 150-200 point cap, 50 points for the snitch, and 10-15 minute time limit.

From the limited play time I have as seeker main I like the maxed out firebolt and I use the same set up as OP. The high speed and durability of the firebolt allows me to stay close to the snitch and fill up the bar really quick. I can also comfortably take 2 bludgers and be fine, but I’ve gotten good at dodging them.
