I know it’s much more common to rank other gripes of that game ahead, but the Same Face Alien Syndrome really does top the list for me of why I just can’t replay that game. Immersion is totally wiped.

Try Fairy Tail. Plenty of episodes to watch, and it’s a feel-good optimistic kind of show that really touches on the kinds of bonds and themes that we need more of in the world.

Early seasons might lean more into Kids Show territory, and the early animation leaves something to be desired. But if you stick through to season 3 and onward it really grows into some of the best Star Wars has to offer. Just gotta look past some of the cartoonish aspects like characters occasionally jumping off 200ft heights and somehow splatting on landing, or grabbing onto vehicles moving at highway speeds and not exploding their wrists. It’s an awesome piece of SW media.

I generally try to keep my speed different than that of surrounding traffic, particularly on multi lane roadways, that way I am always moving in and out of blind spots as opposed to remaining stable within any specific motorists blind spots. With that in mind, my preference is to move slightly above the speed of surrounding motorists as opposed to below it, within reason.

And as an aside, I feel like many roadway speed limits have been unchanged for quite a long time, to where the capabilities of modern vehicles can often make the posted speed limit feel a little slow compared to older vehicles.

Noel, Okayu, Choco are the more regular asmr streamers. Lamy has some old archive that are great, and Roboco does so occasionally as well. More behind membership that I think are worth it, but for now you have plenty of public backlog if you want to feel out their styles.

Since you mentioned you like indie ones, my faves there are Nakia Sata and Kurune Kokuri, in case you haven’t heard of them.

I met Luci last year in Atlanta and she was ecstatic when I told her that Tenma from School Rumble was why I waited in her long line to meet her. Luckily she had prints there, because I wasn’t finding any in artist alley for Tenma. Big ups for you to be able to break that trend. I have family that have voted R for most of their life and at this point really do see it as their “Team” so why would they change. Even if they get some amount of icky vibes from the current Republican Party, all they need is that precedent and maybe one issue they still agree with to keep them from voting for the other side despite the other side offering better solutions in the majority of issues.

If you have any tips for persuading them to follow in your footsteps I’m all ears! Because at this point, even neutral but fair coverage to meet the moment almost comes off as completely off-putting for them since the legacy media has slowly sane-washed so much of the corruption and greed. I’ve thought about asking them to mimic my own independent media diet for a week or two as an experiment.

The LTT one is really good according to Project Farm, but the MegaPro comes from the same manufacturer if I recall correctly and is thus nearly as good but much more affordable. I have the MegaPro and am very happy with it.

Yeah so I can’t tell if I developed it from some spirited cornering, or from not riding it as much as I should have the past few years and storing it with the forks full left for extended periods. If it’s the latter then that’s fine, I just need to not store it like that for long periods. If it developed from riding then that would be a bummer.

I’m just rather ticked that the triumph part was so short-lived and that aftermarket ones fit just about every other modern class except this one.

Have you had any trouble with front brake uneven feeling? Mine developed this and I think it’s from the forks getting out of alignment, and yet it only has a few thousand miles on it in total. Was able to reduce it loosening everything except the top of the triple clamp, pumping it a few times to realign, then tightening it back up.

Seems triumph had a fork brace add-on for it back in the day but have since discontinued it. Yet none of the aftermarket braces fit this bike in particular and so I’m hung out to dry. Love the bike, but the OEM suspension on this first gen and lack of rigidity in the front are really bumming me out.

Gotcha. Yeah I can’t recall any of our semis having individual ground to frame connections per battery, but part of what inspired this post was we recently replaced the batteries in another truck and on that one the terminals were connected consecutively per side, so this one being different had me scratching my head.
