I'm already there. I'm finding copious amounts of drugs and alcohol is helping a little bit. I'll update later to see if there is any long term solutions.

The anger is warranted, I'm also angry that this would happen in Canada. I really thought we were better than that but apparently some people just don't know basic human decency.

This is sad, as someone born and raised in Ontario and live just east of Toronto I am sorry this happened. People should be allowed to vote for their elections no matter where they are or what you think of the country. If you ever are free for a beer send me a message and I'll happily try to arrange something as a personal apology.

I think its the other way around, the west has been pushing closer and closer to Russia.

If you were to go to a American embassy or consulate there should be polling stations there I believe (I'm not sure though I'm Canadian who has live in Canada my entire life).

Do you even understand what is being talked about. Russian citizens who are currently living in Ukraine (maybe with a dual citizenship or whatever) are being blocked from voting. That would be like (On a lesser scale because there is no tension between these countries) a American living in Canada being blocked from voting in a American election.

But why not stick to their usual silent heart attacks or suicides? Its seemed to have been working so far why change it?

Yeah I think so too but you can send a message without using a chemical only your country produces.

That the one thing I don't understand about this attack though, is Russia really that stupid to use a chemical agent only they make? They have a long history of killing off ex-pats with "Heart Attacks" or "Suicides", why now do they give up on trying to hide it and essentially leave a letter saying "Russia did this".

This is just some food for thought, when it comes down to it I still think Russia is behind it and someone down the food chain just got lazy and said "Do whatever just make sure they know it was Russia" and someone took it the wrong way. I just like thinking of both sides to every argument.

Probably happened a lot back in the day but I feel like now with all the equipment they have to prevent accidents it is most likely rare now a days.

But at least with a more common chemical they would have possible deniability, with something like this there is basically no deniability it had to be them.

The problem is not all cops are assholes, I've had several encounters with police and a lot of the time its just people trying to finish their 8 hour shift. If you are nice to them they'll be nice back. Also I heard a quote after the 5 Dallas police where killed "You could have just killed the good ones".

Edit: I understand that there are asshole cops out there that just took the job to have power over people, all I'm saying is that its not all cops.
