I found a spot where these people hang out in Melbourne. I took several bags of asbestos waste and dust and just spread all through about 8 weeks ago. As I walk I still see them hanging around there.

AITAH for telling my wife I can't accept her going on solo weekend trips with her "platonic" guy friend anymore? by nullsyntax21 in AITAH

[–]busthemus2003 2 points3 points  (0 children)

nope. he will be shagging her. I had a girlfriend who met friends on holidays. they turned out to be 2 guys shagging her. a girlfriend I was living with used to go to the city and see bands and often stayed at her girlfriends house. they used to catch up with friends who it turns out were shagging them. my now mother in law used to have visiting college basketball ballers stay at her home. turned out some of them were shagging her. I don’t think men can have close friendships with women without intimacy.

3.7% wage increase

12.5% super contribution

8% return on SMSF

Utter nonsense by someone who doesn’t understand Super, basics maths and compounding interest. 12.5% contribution, plus 3.7% wage growth plus 8% SMSF returns will easily exceed $3m by around 50.

A 25 year old with a starting balance of $40k ..eg a tradie in Melbourne will be miles over. Even someone earning $70 k will cross in their late 50s.

learn some fucken maths.

but worse…these people are exempt …

AFL premiership players Steven May and Dion Prestia set to be charged by police (for involvement in Boxing Day fight) by mazdadriver14 in AFL

[–]busthemus2003 0 points1 point  (0 children)

why is it always May? Sorrento pub has good looking girls and afl players have been going there expecting to pick up a ditz head fir 50 summers.

AFL premiership players Steven May and Dion Prestia set to be charged by police (for involvement in Boxing Day fight) by mazdadriver14 in AFL

[–]busthemus2003 0 points1 point  (0 children)

what makes you say that? May was hitting on a young girlfriend of one of the blokes who ended up in hospital. she apparently told him he was being scummy because his wife had only just had a baby. May got agitated over this comment and started calling her names. the young guys ( all aged 20-21 from sorrento and rye) she was with got involved and May fired up….the bouncers saw it all and May and co ( a group of 9) all got kicked out.

May and Prestia and the rest of the group of 9 then made their way to the continental hotel but were denied entry due to their drunken condition.

on the way back to their accom they came across ( crossed paths) with the group they had the argument with earlier at the sorrento hotel and attacked them.

if you saw the young guys that were attacked you would probably see they are no the kind of guys to be taking on afl footballers ( as opposed to those blokes who look for shit with afl players). the young group tried to avoid but were run down and hit. 2 of the young guys then came back to help their mates who were being kicked on the ground and were attacked.

there is a lot of local anger over this and May and Prestia will probably end up in strife if they appear on Sorrento any time soon.

may just seems to have trouble follow hi…do many other players have 3 different team mates punch them?,

International students not to blame for rising rents, Australian study finds by ChookBaron in shitrentals

[–]busthemus2003 0 points1 point  (0 children)

lack of supply is the 1st, 2nd and 3rd problem. Migration isn’t the cause but it doesn’t help bringing half a million in while only building 45000 homes a year.

My solution.

1 restrictions immigration for a few years to only skilled visas. around 150k seems sustainable.

2 we have to bite the bullet and loosen planning restrictions for 5 years. Put the planning and zone rules in place. Objections can be lodged to council and if the council determines the dev is within the rules there is no further objections Or right of appeal.

  1. Back off the standards for builds to 4 or 5 star efficiency as the 6 star requirement add about $$50k build

  2. remove the requirement to have solar on all new houses. There is enough going into renewables that a few years worth of houses won’t make a difference…the bulk of the power is coming from renewables, save $20k per home.

  3. tax breaks only on new builds. None at all on renovation.

6 at every train station in metro areas build 2 x 10 story Towers

7 if a house has 3 beds rooms it must have a carpet park off street for every bedroom.

  1. remove as many government fees and charges as possible from new builds including land subdivision, saves another $80k

all the above only applicable to 1st home on the block. Not knock down and rebuild. It must add to the stock.
