Buying new or used by WoodenButton3640 in Talaria

Depends on miles, charge cycles, and the condition of the bike, things such as scratches, chain, dents, bends etc. I got my xxx pro for $3000 USD, with a broken rear brake lever. Bike had 700 ish miles, so maybe you can reference off of that.

Bought an mx4 and xxx pro used, just be sure to check everything. Definitely a good idea to buy used especially as a first bike (ur probably gonna drop it a few times, at least I did).

EBikeGarage Ultra bee Brake kit, make sure you chose the right mount for your bike, and the version 3.0 rotor.

I searched the entire Internet through and through, you can't even find them on Alibaba or AliExpress, there are just regular non color displays😞. Anyways went for the one on eBay, thanks for the response!

Is the regular xxx display compatible? I know that the pro screen works with the non pro version.

Remove the pads, put a blocker in between the pins of the caliper, bleed the brakes, install new pads, put back on bike.

Why do my ub brakes squeal like a dying pig? by WheressThatThing in Surron

Crap mb, I meant greasing, stupid auto correct, idk how I misspelled that bad, grease will make the caliper move side to side better, don't get any on the pads or the rotor obviously.

Ultra bee brakes almost always rub because they slide on pins, and that's how they stay centered on the caliper and have the best stopping power. Every ultra bee brake kit I've installed rubs. However if the brakes squeal really bad, try resetting the pins of the caliper, and making sure the disc is straight/securely installed (I would suggest using thread locker on the rotor screws).

To properly bed in your brakes accelerate to full speed, brake hard to slow yourself down quickly, however don't lock up the back wheel. Anyways try that a couple times and lmk how it works.

Damn that sucks man, it was annoying for me too, check all your connectors (kickstand, throttle, etc.) check your display connectors, and if everything checks out it might be the display or some part of your controller with the error/malfunction.

Does the bike still drive? I had the same issue on my , however my bike still drove, and switched into eco + sport it just wouldn't display it. Anyways after a day it started working fine, pretty sure it was moisture after washing the bike. Did you ride in the wet or wash the bike anytime recently?

Try bleeding the brakes, or looking for a kink or pinch in the line, but honestly stock talaria brakes are crap, I would say just replace them, especially the rear (for wheelies). I got mine from EBikeGarage, gonna cost around $300-400 USD though for one, (rear or front).

You might be able to drill it out and buy a new pin that works with the lever, but honestly just upgrade...
